Weruva Classic Cat Stews!, What a Crock with Chicken & Salmon in Gravy, 3oz Pouch (Pack of 12)

My picky elder cat ❤️ this food. I usually have to water down regular canned food since she prefers more gravy, but not with this. It saves time and money. The younger cat loves it too!

Update: they stopped eating it after less than two weeks😅Also the material of the packaging is super thin and half in my second shipment had been either smashed or cut with something that caused it to spill out. This was just a gravy treat for them so I probably won’t reorder this food due to packaging issues and them not sticking with it. I have tried (well, my cats have) the slide n serve, the cats in the kitchen, and the cats in the kitchen pate in the can. Unfortunately, cans from all brands come dented theses days and I'm just done dealing with it so I have been getting these pouch foods. They didn't love cats in the kitchen, it's very chunky, the slide n serve was too slippery and the cans were just basically mush. This stew is perfection in my cats opinions. It's not pure liquid, not super thick, and very lappable if your cats enjoy licking their food. I have two of my own and feed 12 outside and every single one gobbled this up. The ingredients are incredibly straight forward. Is it top tier nutrition? Do I like that it has "natural flavor"? No, but the nutrient profile is pretty spot on besides being excessive in fat. The phosphorus is low and it's very moisture filled. If you have cats that are picky and you want them to get more moisture in their diet without giving them trash ingredients or breaking the bank, this is a great option.

It does not look like the picture. It is literally all water with 2tbs of food mush. My cat likes this brand. I like the ingredients. This flavor is a flop. No food. Just basically broth in some cans. It might just be this batch. Amazon did refund me. My kittens actually loved the taste of this even though it was mostly water. They are very picky. I might give this another chance just because of how much they like the taste. Maybe my next order won’t be all liquid.

This is a great product and my 12 year old calico loves it. It has lots of gravy in it which is great for older cats and when it's refrigerated the gravy becomes a nice thick gel that she loves....it's also minced in small pieces which is great if your cat has tooth problems (mine doesn't though)- my problem isn't the product. Every Weruva wet cat food I've tried (all of them)- has great ingredients and she loves them all- I should also mention that her coat is thick and shiny and her health is amazing since I started her on this. My problem is with the delivery- in this last delivery the cat food was practically thrown onto the front porch and had fallen halfway off the doorstep- and one end of the box was crushed- so was the can of food on that corner- which made it spill all over everything else. This is also not the only problem I've had with Amazon package delivery over the last month.

I have to admit that I fell hook line and sinker for this whole marketing ploy of adorable names. That euphoria only lasted until I opened the cans. Very little meat at all and total liquid!! I basically poured it into the bowl for our Stella. She licked it for a few minutes and then walked away never to return. I have bought this brand for over a decade, but now feel forced to go with another brand. I can't believe how they have pet owners who want to do the best they can for their pets, paying primo bucks for this food which is mostly water. A total disappointment and will definitely not be buying it again. I'm even afraid at this point, to even purchase some of the old favorites for fear of the same type of exploit. Buyer beware. Very sad.

I think this food is disgusting and the smell has caused me to dry heave several times but my cat freaking loves it and has for a few years. I tried to get him back on his old Royal Canin and he meowed, “No way, human, give me the slop STAT!” Gross but effective for my particular feline.
