Has anyone used this to control x-plane flight sim rc models? any good alternatives?

I've used it with other rc flight sim games. works pretty well. in general, the lower range spektrum controllers aren't great for simulators because they are basically taking advantage of the wired trainer mode and still need battery changes often.

Keep getting simlauncher 2011 install error! how do i get my dongle to be accepted. dx5e or 6

I didn’t use the disc. It worked without it.

Will this work with a dx9?

If you have the trainer port on the rear of your radio it will work. (looks like an audio mini jack)
