Ended up adding a power inverter just because I wanted to have battery power constantly. Now as for ya home if you using your dell at home this battery would be perfect as long as you charge the battery an hour or so later still dies just not as quickly. The previous battery would be dead in about 5 minutes unhooked from the electrical outlet. Get what you pay for. So is the battery worth it yes to me it is.
