ASR TacticalUniversal Law Enforcement Oversize Handcuff Key (Ideal for Gloved Hands)

The key itself is great. The size of the grip worked and was easy to hold. I used it for police school and never in a police officer job setting.The only problem I ran into with it was the key flap itself. The notch to unlock the cuffs was too small for my cuffs. I believe the ones I used had three sets of teeth and the notch only lifted two of them. I would need to wiggle it around and/or pull the key back out a hair to get it to lift all three teeth. Other than that it was great.

I gave a not good review when I first received the key. The key works great it just needed a little use to get broken in .

Absolutely perfect!. Just the right size for my key ring on my duty belt. My current key is way too long, so long it actually ripped the seat in my vehicle when i sat down. Just the right size!

High quality works on 98%"of handcuffs out there. It's a little large to use for the purposes of keeping in concealed. I always keep handcuff keys hidden all over my outfits even being in law enforcement you never know these days when you might need one.

So... if you want it to work on a set of new cuffs, good luck. Did I use files and sandpaper to make it work? Yes I did. But out of the box it was a bit of a fail. It may work well in an older set of cuffs but it was kind of crappy casting. Once customized it worked just fine and I like how flat it is to keep in a wallet or something.

My favorite style cuff key. Large enough to use wth gloves. Works good with all style Cuffs & Leg irons. Even the worn down aluminum Smith and Wesson Leg Iorns. I usually never have a problem.

It's a cuff key. No moving parts. Has worked so far on all the sets of cuffs I have used it on.

They did not exactly reinvent the wheel with this key, but they didn't really need to.I have tried using it bare handed, with gloves on, and even with heavily insulated winter gloves. Works real good.If you have big hands/fingers or are going to be using this with gloves on often, this is way more easy to handle than conventional keys or the baton type ones some companies sell.Very nice key.
