Great product!
I like it. USA product. Had a tough time finding a dye that mixed with oil based solvents. Most dyes out there are just for water based solvents. This one mixes with every other solvent that is not water based. It mixes well and even has a chart with all the solvents it mixes into. It tints lacquer, poly and a host of other stains for a multitude of color variations. I am very happy with it. Great price compared to other well known dyes that one would have to source out since there are not many out there. They even responded to my questions, which is a rare treat by today's standards. Great doing business with an American company.

As good as I’ve seen
A great powdered dye for mixing with denatured alcohol. Strong, smooth dye

Recommend for beginners. If you can afford pro colors..go that way
Really would like more colors, more volume per pack, better packaging and natural color options. This was a lark as I normally buy bigger volumes for my business building custom cabinets, furniture and restoring antique furniture. Color matching is essential in many types of wax, oil, lacquer and poly finishes. I found these limited and disappointing but adequate for an amateur experimenting on inexpensive woods. I recommend mixing in lab grade pure ethanol ( Lab Alley - for cheapest by 20-55 gal. Free shipping) for warmest transparent wood stain. Mix then add several layers of your lightly colored sealer coat to bring it to final color. Many coats are better than one heavy coat that can block the pure warm grain. If using a color mix wax finish use several fine buffed layers rubbed in with a reed burnisher.

Works Well on wood, but wear gloves!
Ok these are concentrated powdered dyes ,put down some newspaper and wear gloves when you mix them. If it can get every where and stain your fingers for weeks. I used them in water to dye a guitar and get a pretty good sunburst on it. Then I had to reasonably match some ply to some cherry. I mixed it up with some amber shellac and w two coats got close enough. They are not exact but it doesn't scream mistake and since its the back of the cabinet its good to go. It takes talent to mix pigments successfully so you may not be successful right out of the gate. Its not the fault of the pigments it just takes practice and a lot of test pieces. be careful not to spill it if you do try vacuuming up, wiping will just disperse the pigment on to the surface and you will never get it up.

Suspends doesn’t really dissolve
Bought this to make my own bright colored wood dye. Haven’t found anything that dissolves it. It kinda just sits on the wood until it dries.

Tried my hand at building and finishing a guitar.
This dye worked exactly like I hoped and worked well with Nitrocellulose laquer. It didn't take much. Maybe 1/4 teaspoon for the black and 1/8th for the red. It's very strong dye. I used it with acetone.

Difficult to review
Not sure if I received what I paid for. The individual packets have a label, it just does not state the weight on this label. Only weight shown is on a separate piece of paper, explaining various packages. Colors look good.
