Will this product soften plastic that has been hardened by skin oils?

Want to use this on headphone headband and earpads. They're made of pleather and known to peel within 2-3 years. Will this help? How often to apply?

Hi. I can’t say for sure, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I’ve been using it on faux leather shoes, and it’s really done the trick. The only thing you might want to consider is if there’s anything in the formula that could irritate your skin - since the headphones will be making regular contact with your ears and face. Anyway, it does seem to do as advertised. I’ve been very happy with it. Hopes this is at least somewhat helpful.
