What does "foil shaver" mean?

I guess it means the perforated covering of the blades. The hair has to go through a hole and the blade behind the foil cuts it then. As opposed to the electric razors with those 3 circular thingamajigs on them that kinda pinch the hairs, this cuts smoother in my opinion. Hope this helps.

Mine worked good bt now it's slowed its speed and stop working during its use even with new batteries ...suggestion ??

I had one for years and when this happened it usually needed new batteries or to be cleaned. 3+ years later I am buying another one. It works great in the shower for my bikini hair an I’m an African American woman with kinky hair.

My battery compartment doesn't open. Only see line where it should open on the sides and back. Should it have a line on the colored area in the front?

I am not sure. My battery compartment is on the bottom and simply turns to open. There is no "line" for it.

Great little shaver!

Great little shaver. It worked as described although I've only used once. It's so convenient and portable. It does remove hair well and plan to take on vacation. agree with a previous comment that it would be so nice if it came with a little cleaning brush like most men's do. Other than that it's great.

Es mi segunda máquina depiladora , la primera la compre aprox 5 años , misma marca y modelo ,solo que le deje las pilas puestas y se oxido :( así que recomiendo quitarle las pilas después de usarla como lo dice en las instrucciones. Súper recomendable!! No arranca los bellos solo los corta y deja una puntita , es súper práctica para llevar a cualquier lado y te saca de apuros 😅
