You know it'll keep your gum fresh. It's my first time buying Mastic gum so I can't judge the quality of the gum. It's a pretty tough chew, and at first the flavor is like biting into a pine needle then like 5 crunches later there is no flavor. My boyfriend and I like it. We chew it as gum. Also the bag is a lot smaller than I thought, but I still think this is a pretty good buy. It takes a while to come in because it's imported from Greece.
