Recently I started buying imported tuna and mostly I get yellowfin because it's lowest in mercury. Rio, As do Mar, Ortiz...these are all premium tunas, and all very costly, and all are not yellowfin. This brand does not indicate if it is yellowfin, it says light tuna. It says "wild tuna...pole and line caught" which I like. Out of all the others I've tried this is the most tender and best flavor. You really can't taste the oregano, I add my own. Yes, very expensive but each can has about 4 large fillets, so I kind of justify the cost. It is one of the best tunas I've ever had.

Easily the best canned tuna I've ever eaten. It is nice and juicy, and does not feel like I'm eating glorified cat food like some other brands 😅 I even enjoyed the red bell peppers which I don't usually like eating but they definitely added to the flavor. Overall, I'd highly recommend!

I've tried a lot of these fancy canned tunas on here and this one is my favorite. Wish it was a bit cheaper and I would buy way more, but the flavor is very good.

Won't be able to ever be satisfied with the usual commercial tuna we are offered here in the USA. This product is so very delicious. So many ways to eat, too many to even try to list here.Tonight I had the Red bell bepper on a bed of organic greens. I had a slice of Italian Cressia/Easter bread and lightly steamed asparagus with it. What a great meal. Try it even though the price is higher than we are used to, it is totally worth it, especially for that clean taste we all love (the olive oil it is packed in is also delicios by the way. Hard not to drink it right down!). It is a perfect single portion. Good Stuff!!

Update:The seller explained the reason why it was less firm than I wanted. I have grown to enjoy it in tuna salads and sandwiches. I do drain the oil, however.Old review:Since moving, I've been looking for a can of good solid white tuna. When my luck ran out at the local stores, I went to Amazon. This was the first product I tried here, and it's okay.Flavor: Good, clean flavor but slightly salty. I'd drain the oil and add my own to balance out the salt.Color: I still did not try all the cans, but the ones I did, had dark meat, semi-firm but still tasty.Price: the price to quality ratio makes it worth buying. Buying something cheap for 1 $ will give you a different experience.The packaging is beautiful.

We buy it multiple cases at a time, the best we have found and at a fair price, packed in oil is so much better than water as the fish remains moist. Tins are all filled with mostly solid fillets, have to pry them out with a fork (that's a good thing).Edited to add 4/7/23: I lowered my initial review from a 5 to a 4 based solely on price, including tax $63+ for 12 cans of tuna is ridiculous, they have priced themselves out of our household.

This is the perfect addition to a salad, whether it is a greens salad or pasta.

Every word of the company’s claim regarding their tuna is understated. This is a fabulous product. You’ll never buy store brands again. This is worlds better than standard brand solid albacore. I started out on a hunt to find a tuna that isn’t processed in Taiwan. This is the only one I could find. After reading the manufacturer’s statement I was skeptical to say the least. Take the company’s word for. You will not be sorry.
