LCD Speaker Bar (black)

I bought this to replace the dumb down-pointing speakers from my 32" HDTV set. Just needed more directional sound for a secondary TV. These work great. I ended up turning the volume up 100% and controlling volume via the TV remote. NO hum, buzz or anything you normally get with inexpensive computer speakers. The unit is USB powered and the TV's USB port was able to power it with no apparent issues. The mounting bracket, while optimized for HP computer monitors it says, was easily adapted to stick on to the back side of the slim HDTV case. I would definitely buy this again.... and have already recommended it to others.

This speaker fit perfectly on my HP L2245wg monitor. Unlike other speakers that produced noise from the USB power, this one is quiet. The sound is very good, and it has an easily accessible volume knob, in addition to the computer controlled volume. I had tried three other speakers before this one and they all took up valuable desk space and were not good quality. This attaches to the monitor and sounds good. In short, it's perfect.

I recently bought a Mac Mini, and the built in speaker is not adequate for videos. I was looking for a speaker for online videos, not for loud or regular music listening, and this speaker works great. The sound is clear with good stereo separation. It does not have power supply noise due to the USB power supply. It does distort at high volume, but then it is too loud to listen to anyway. The volume knob on the sound bar in combination with your computer's volume control gives you a good range of control. The bar easily snapped onto my HP ZR24W monitor and looks great. Not for full range music, but better than most cheap speaker sets.

This speaker is your run of the mill low-cost desktop monitor in a speaker bar format that mounts onto certain HP monitors. Fits the bill for me and am really happy with it. Only thing to note is you'll need a high quality USB data source to power these speakers - cheap USB power sources seem to add background buzzing... the cheaper the source, the worse the buzz...

I just bought this unit and the HP ZR24w display a few days ago. It came from a different supplier so it arrived today. Another reviewer has commented on noise attributed to the USB power source. I can't speak to the technical explanation but I can say that it sounds like an old radio picking up Morse code and it's so distracting in a quiet office that I considered sending the unit back. Fortunately, by tweaking a bit, I discovered that if I turn the unit volume down and source volume to max, I can comfortably listen or not listen as I choose. I suppose it's all about signal to noise ratio. The unit is easy to install and it's a nicely engineered fit with the ZR24w. HP's website has a list of other compatible displays which I think it wise to check. The speakers are too close together to achieve any real stereo effect so if your display serves as much of an entertainment device, you'll likely be disappointed. Mine is primarily a work machine so giving up some sound quality for more desk space seems a fair exchange .

I choose this speaker because I wanted to free up my desk from speakers for my computer. I liked that it was low-profile and fit neatly on my HP LP2475w. So when the price dropped, I went ahead and purchased it. I got a used version so it was missing the mounting screws. I think. While the instructions were included they were not in English, but there was a lovely picture of two mounting screws that I just didn't see in the box. But I was willing to look past that and think of a plan b - until I plugged it in. The sound is horrible and I'm not even a huge music buff, I just need something to listen to music and sounds out of my computer. They were just too bassy- and blah.

This item is exactly as advertised. The speaker fits very neatly underneath a HP LCD monitor and provides clear sound. This is not a powerful speaker, indeed it only has 2 watts of output. For the reviews that complain about low volume -- what did you expect? For $20 it's the perfect speaker for PC sounds and low volume office listening.

I have no buzzing noise issues like others have said. Mine is completely silent when on and having nothing playing. I like the build quality & looks of it. It's a perfect size for me, sounds good, and has a nice sturdy feel to it.

Easy to set up. Does what it is made to do.

Cette barre de hauts-parleurs améliore le son de la TV, ce qui est efficace pour les durs d'oreille, c'est ce qui était recherché.

El pero es que tiene muy poca potencia, dejando bastante que desear en cuanto a calidad, pero por lo menos solventa la papeleta.
