Box was opened, so this is not a "new" phone.

High Quality
We use these phones exclusively in our entire building (hundreds), and have for years. I've found them to be very high quality. Calls come through clear. The screen isn't very high tech, just monochrome and selections using the hard buttons - in other words, no touch screen. But it does the job, which allow us to make and receive calls. It has a heavy build, no cheap feeling. I don't work on the IT side, so I can't speak to any problems with setup or installation, but we've had no real problems with it.

Good price. So far so good! If you going to buy this as a replacement, it works out fine. If your adding this to your grid, you will have to buy a license...

Quality VoIP call quality
The 9608G is Avaya's entry level 9600 series IP phone. While the monochrome screen doesn't scream "look at me" the voice quality compared to lower price sip phones is noticeably different. Also, the quality feel of the phone makes cheaper options feel light, and well, cheap.

great phones.
Just installed 50 .. great phones.. Only 1 complaint.. the speakerphone sounds bad to the person your talking to.. or maybe i just got 1 bad phone? havent asked around to the other 49 people here
