I contacted the seller who sent me additional seeds but they too would not sprout. I followed the instructions provided but to no avail. I even gave several seeds to a good friend of mine that can grow just about anything and she too said none of them sprouted after following the directions. I was super disappointed because I was really looking forward to having this plant as I saw one on a recent trip to Costa Rica and loved them. The two stars were primarily for the fact that the seller actually attempted to make it right the 1st time I contacted him by sending me additional seeds.***Update***I am revising my review because after my previous review the seller reached out to me, again, trying to make the situation right as I believe he genuinely wants customer satisfaction. After discussing possibilities as to why my seeds never sprouted, Mark made additional suggestions and recommendations for me to be successful. He then sent me more seeds and tada! We followed the instructions but then read that they need to be away from sunlight, so we put them in a spot where the kids can watch them grow, away from windows, and they started to bud in a few days, but after a week they stopped and they looked like they were wilting, so we moved them closer to the window to see if sunlight would help...needless to say they stopped growing :(. We watered them and moved them again and nothing. Luckily my kids forgot about them, so they aren't upset, but we really hoped that these would have worked out!
