The 1-1/4 MNPT threaded connection was protected be a thin cardboard ring, but it got impacted in shipment as indicated in attached picture. Informed desertcart supplier of damage but R/R of old WM-6 and replacement with WM-23 79.6 gallon tank was trouble-free. I used Kevlar-laced sealant rated for PVC and threaded a female crossover to 1 in PVC slip connection, o-ring union, ball valve, on to my water supply. I topped the air pressure charge back up to 38 psi before install, was about 25 psi as tank made in 2022. Make sure you check/recharge air charge at top Schrader valve at least yearly to get maximum amount of service water before your pump cycles. Review: Very high quality tank vs steel - Super high quality. Considering adding an identical 2nd one in parallel to increase capacity and further reduce well pump dwell times. Box arrived a little mangled, but tank was undamaged.
