Works well.
Easy to use and set up. I formatted it to exFAT for use on a Mac or PC interchangeably. Would like to see an LED on this, but I don’t think it has one.

Good for backups!
It works really well. I got this as a recomendation of one of my friend that is also a photographer. I'm using as a backup and also to use to keep my archives while I'm editing using Photoshop and Ligthroom.

Not under warranty
I checked the serial number for the drive on Western Digital's website and it said it was out of warranty. I contacted WD and they weren't able to extend the warranty because the drive is not new. It's renewed. The "3-year manufacturer's limited warranty" claim is false. Do not buy unless you don't need a warranty.

Works well for a backup drive
Haven't seen any issues yet. Use it for a backup of personal files and is kept in a safe. Have it on a timed system, so it turns on and off, plus updates at specific times. Haven't seen any issues as of yet.

Better storage available at better prices available!
I made a mistake buying this, thank God I found out there WAS NO UNITED STATES PLUG in this package! Had there been, I might not have gone back here to return it and then found there was a BETTER DEAL available with a smaller physical size but with higher capacity and no POWER CABLE NECESSARY.
