Just what I remember from my childhood. The classic airfix box is wonderful. The figures need cleaning up a bit before painting but that’s part of the charm of a classic set.

Bought these to convert some of the more usable figures into pilots for the 1/72 scale WW2 Airfix/Revell planes that I have taken to modelling. I got into it during lockdown as a distraction and seem to have just carried on. Quite Childish really !! These figures are not moulded with the same detail accuracy as I recall from my childhood days, and the plastic used seem much more soft and waxy, but they will do the job I guess. That waxy quality seems to make it more difficult for paint adhesion too, but it’s not a deal breaker. NOT AMAZING QUALITY…..BUT PERFECTLY ADEQUATE.
