Lite Seat Ultralight Inflatable Seat Cushion

Very useful self inflating seat. We used it for a music festival abroad where we weren’t allowed and didn’t want to take in chairs. It just gives that extra bit of comfort so you can sit very comfortably on the ground if you wish, but in a matter of seconds, unscrew the air valve, deflate, roll it up, put it in your pocket and move on, without having to carry a chair about, which is always a nuisance and increasingly not allowed at these type of events. It is very light in weight, so we easily packed it in the hand baggage on plane.

Used for motorsports events as opposed to carrying a bulky chair. Super compact and lightweight. Just remember to hold on to it when you stand up when it is windy! Not cheap but better than the ‘Z’ fold foam mats.

I take the Thermarest seat pad with me whenever I know I am likely to find myself sitting on a hard, cold and sometimes wet seat. It Rolls and folds small enough to fit a jacket pocket. The instructions suggest against folding, and it does reduce life a little, but I have always rolled it tight with the air valve open, closed the air valve them folded it in half lengthways and then into thirds to fit in Jacket pocket.

I bought it after sitting in a waiting room with uncomfortable seats for 4 hours. It now lives in my bag! It's light, robust and comfortable. I wish it took up less space when rolled up, but it's okay.

I had one of these for a few years using it 3 times a week. It delaminated a little and Thermarest replaced it for free. I got another (the one i'm reviewing) as it was handy to have a spare when i misplaced it for a while. it seems expensive but considering the use i put it to is an absolute bargain especially when i used an 'cheap' £8 one from eurohike (or something like that) and it lasted 2 days and never retained air again! You get what you pay for in this instance. My 25 year old thermarest sleeping mat is still going strong.

Love this seat. Very versatile. I take it on most of my walks as it enables me to sit anywhere outside and be comfortable. I use it frequently when travelling as well since it folds small and is easy to pack.

I purchased this cushion to use at picnic tables at my local park. It's very comfortable to use. Compresses very small taking up very little room in my rucksack. Equally good at home on my desk chair.

Ok, I know it's supposed to be self-inflating, but I find I'm always having to give it a good top-up afterwards. I fear that one day it'll pop like an over-inflated balloon! Seriously though, I don't use it outdoors, just for venue seats, as my aged tailbone doesn't like sitting in hard seats. Using it in this way is reasonably successful, but I always feel I need two in top of each other. On the plus side, it lacks down nicely, and looks built to last.
