RC Flashing LED Lighting Kit for Scale Cars and Trucks

I ordered this light kit to use with a new Traxxas Telluride trail truck that I have purchased. I wanted to put some lights in the front, and then some tail lights on the truck. With this kit, I was able to install several lights: --2 red LEDs for the tail lights --2 amber LEDs on the sides near the front fender for marker lights --2 white LEDs in the main headlights --2 white LEDs in the "fog lamps" --2 blue LEDs in the front daytime running lights I was left with two more white LEDs that I could use in the future if need be. The lights come with really nice little housings that you actually install in the RC body that holds the light in place on the body. This makes it so that you don't have to use any glue. The lights have plenty of wire so that you can run them all around a fairly large RC body and have them plug into the control box easily. The control box mounts to the inside of the body with some included double sided tape. It then draws power from a channel on the receiver. The plug to provide power is included, and it actually is a pass through so it allows you to plug it into the receiver, then into the control box, and then plug another item into that channel and still use the channel. The lights all work great. They light up fairly bright, and when put in place on the body they look amazing. For the price that this kit costs, I think it's a really nice buy. I would definitely get another set for another truck in the future. Highly recommended.

I bought this to pimp out my grandson's Fischer Price Mini Quad, lol. I got a battery holder from Radio Shack wired the whole thing up. Everything worked perfectly. The LED holders are for a thinner material such as a model or the body of an RC vehicle so I had to tinker with them for the thicker material of the mini quad, but it worked out great. Now riding the quad is all my grandson wants to do. This product would work great for model cars/trucks/space ships, Helicopters/drones. I even thought about incorperating one into a halloween costume (Halo Helmet). And it apparently works well with Mini Quads, lol. Great product!

I Like this product , their easy to install but I just don't like the big switch it comes with. I have to admit the lights look really cool on my RC car though. If you looking for RC light,s these are very affordable and look and work flawlessly

These lights work on 4.8 to 6.0 volts, any more (or less ) than that & they may come on, but only a minute or so then burn out, plug the little RED buttons plug into SET on the blue box, turn power on, each time you push the RED button you'll get different lighting (all on / all flashing, etc.) the round plastic pieces provided to hold the bulbs would not work for me as I wanted to mount the bulbs in a metal truck, too thick, so I had to improvise, they might work OK in plastic bodies, so I'm happy with the lights & price.

I have seen this unit elsewhere and that red button that you see in the pictures is usually included, but it is NOT part of this kit. The control box is very very cheap, but mine is working for now. I wouldn't be surprised if it stopped later on. I'll do what I can to waterproof that box, as I bet even a little moisture would kill it. I really wanted the kit with that button though, it's in the pictures but NOT part of this product.

Got a lot of compliments on this. I like running my Traxxas Stampede truck at night and got difficult to see which way it was facing once it got dark. Installed this kit by drilling holes where I wanted the lights. I used all but two of the lights, but could have used them all. It looked more like a spaceship coming at you with all lights installed, and I thought it looked better with less. This set is nice because you have front and rear lights which is great when trying to tell which direction your truck is facing at night. Little bit more effort to install than the regular traxxas lights. I would suggest using hot glue on the inside of body to make sure light does not pop out of socket when bashing.

I smacked a sidewalk at a slow speed, the lights fell out of the buckets, and since the leds keep the buckets tight, i lost most buckets and it doesn't come with any as extra. lights work fine though. the settings are useless. And, they kinda drain the battery noticeably faster.

This kit is great for the money. It comes with a control box that you can set to different lighting configurations. A nice feature is that the many lights can be hooked up separately without adding resistors. The voltage range seems to be about 3 to 12 volts.

Everything worked as described. LEDs are a little brittle around the contact points so be careful , I ended up soldering a few that broke contact. But for the price can't complain, work great nice and bright. My first shipment was quick 3 weeks I had it. I recently ordered more and it's been 6 weeks and I'm still waiting. Would recommend this for any rc lover.

It's a cheap oh light kit that works, I've bought 2 of them under 2 different name's. I got one in my drift car and another in my crawler. Great cheap kit with lots of LED's
