These earrings hurt my ears, which means they aren’t real surgical steel. They look and feel cheaply made. After just an hour of wearing them (after properly cleaning them first of course) my ears flared up and started to burn and hurt, an obvious reaction to the metals. Surgical steel does NOT hurt me like this.The earring backs also don’t all work. I tried putting them on the post of the earrings and some of the holes were way too small. They also only send a few rubber backs which are also almost impossible to use. And as you can see in my picture, a couple of the earring backs were stuck together rendering them unusable. As I said, I’m extremely disappointed in these earrings. I guess I should have known they would have been bad because of the price. It is true, you get what you pay for. The only thing positive I can say about these is I liked the tiny box they came in. That’s it.I caution everyone who is considering buying these earrings. Especially those who have any kind of metal allergy or sensitive ears. These also come from China so there’s no telling what’s in them. ### ⭐ Not stainless steel. The “stainless steel” is chipping off the posts which infected my piercings. Don’t buy if you have sensitive ears and are looking for true stainless steel. These aren’t it. ### ⭐ DO NOT BUY-NOT SURGICAL STEEL *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2020* I cannot say it enough DO NOT BUY THESE, THEY ARE NOT SURGICAL STEEL!!!! The only reason I am even giving this product with FALSE ADVERTISING a 1 star is because you have to make a selection! If I could I wouldn't give any!!I bought these earrings because I am allergic to anything but surgical steel, sterling silver and gold. After cleaning the earrings with hydrogen peroxide I wore them for maybe an hour, within that time my ears became red, inflamed and began to seep fluid. I took the earrings out thinking maybe I did not clean them as well as I thought. I soaked the two pair I was wearing in hydrogen peroxide over not, which with surgical steel you should be able to do and the earring should not be affected. The next morning they were stripped and a dull gray/ black color. THERE IS NO WAY THESE EARRINGS ARE SURGICAL STEEL. HYDROGEN PEROXIDE DOES NOT DO THIS TO SURGICAL STEEL. DO. NOT. BUY!!
