DYMOS250 Digital USB Shipping Scale, 250-Pound Capacity

This scale is great! The only thing is its very big. I have a small office space. The manufacturer states it should be free standing with nothing around it. Unfortunately, my space did not allow that.

I ordered the scale to use in my small business shipping department, we do 10-30 packages a day and use FedEx Ship Manager software. At first the scale would not work with there software, after updating it to the latest version it allowed USB scales but still did not work. After some research I got it working using the custom config and entering the scales vendor id and the product id found in the computers device manager.FedEx support said it would not work with the software, but after updating and then setting up the custom config I was shipping packages even faster then before.

Works like it should. The removeable digital readout cord is really to short to be of any use. The magnet on the digital readout is very weak, will not stay attached when cord is stretched out. Weight is fairly accurate, would weigh lite items on it.

I purchased this for my warehouse, and we had trouble with it maintaining the weight when a package was placed on it. It would register the weight, then would "hunt" up and down as much as 0.8lbs every two seconds, even though the box was not being moved. I called Dymo, and they walked me through 45 minutes of trouble-shooting with a tech person who seemed new/inexperienced. It was finally decided that there was something wrong with the scale (duh!) and I sent it back to them with an RMA number, and they sent me a new one, with exactly the same problem. We tried it with the USB cable attached, without the USB cable attached, reset it multiple times, used different weights...nothing seemed to have any affect over it "hunting" for the correct weight.Perhaps other scales that Dymo makes are better, but you'd think that for $100+, you'd get some quality, especially with the replacement scale we rec'd.

i wanted to hook the digital read out to the wall but the cord only pulls out easily 6 " or so, i can pull it out stretching it to almost a foot before it stops, so in my opinion its point less pretty much to have it. and there is no way of getting a longer cord. its a great scale otherwise.

Affordable scale that does exactly what you need it to do - it weighs things. Nice display and straight forward operation. I have not yet figured out if it can be integrated into UPS world ship but in the event that I do, it will be everything I could have wanted in regards to functionality.

Product works great! I wish the cord to the screen was either longer or just a straight cord. I have the scale sitting on the floor and the read out screen on my desk and the cord barely even reaches. Other than that it works great and is on and ready practically instantly.

I received one today and surprise the minim scale 0.5 KgI don't know, I have to buy another scale for lighter staffTHE SELLER SHOULD BE MENTION THAT ( the minim scale 0.5 Kg )

I am very pleased with this product and its performance for all the reasons in the subject line.

Had no choice but to buy this unit, it is recommended by our shipping company. But the thing turns off throughout the day. I have even turned off the AutoOff, but it still shuts off after 30mins.Ray
