Rite in the Rain Weatherproof Wirebound Notebook, Black Cover, 3" x 5" (735-3)

I run an engineering consultancy and have site engineers in the field digging trial pits every day. They need to take notes in all weather conditions and often in heavy rain with muddy hands. We've been using rite in the rain notepads for years and they work well with biros and pencil in the rain and mud. My only issue is the price, I've started exploring cheaper alternatives recently that are nearly half the price of RitR products. Ideally I'd like to see Rite in the Rain offer a substantial discount for bulk purchases and sell boxes of 25 or 50.

These notebooks are a great product for following reasons. Lots of pages, good writing sized lines, spiral bound and resistant to damp, sometimes wet weather. I like the 3x5 version because they will fit a shirt or jacket pocket and the flipover design since it is more favourable to lefties. Two pet peeves, however are.1. Overpriced and 2. Pens will work, however, some will clog up with whatever is used to make these wet weather protected. I use pencil only (the darker lead the better). I have used these for many many years and will continue to do so regardless.

My husband works on a golf course and always carries a notebook in his back pocket. This is perfect for him! I gift him these notebooks and the pens on special occasions and they're always a hit. He doesn't have to worry about his notes getting ruined by rain/mud/sprinklers.

This is pretty much a copy/paste from my pen review but they're both equally great products... I purchased this and the pen to go with it as I always carry a notebook when I'm working as a cook. I often find when my hands are wet I tend to get my notebook wet and can't write anything... but not with these products. I am extremely happy with the quality of both and I intend to continue using both products for the foreseeable future.
