Bright cool white light for kitchen top
I badly wanted to replace the warm white default light and went for this. Just plugged in to see the cool white light.Will wait for the dark to see how this light illuminates the kitchen/hall

Worked a treat!
Our original bulb brand was discontinued and a friend with the same lighting in the kitchen recommended these. The bulb fitted and is working well. Much cheaper than the original brand too!

I purchased these GX53 LED bulbs in three orders, 23/5/19, 15/7/19, and 26/1/20 all fitted to open frame GX53 bases mounted on the ceiling of an office 4metres x 3metres in area so well separated. The office is used for about 8 hours daily Monday to Friday and when I enetered the office this morning I noticed the smeel of burnt electrical components, a very distinctive smell and then saw that one of the lights had just one LED flickering, the other 11 units being dead. I removed the bulb from the base and noticed the melted plastic on the back of the unit and black marks inside the bulb. I removed the top cover (it is a clip in unit) and the thrid photo shows the interior of the unit. THIS IS A MAJOR FIRE RISK.I then inspected all the other units I had installed and found a further four units shwing major discoloration due to heat, the remainder show mild discoloration. I have rep[laced the five bad units with spares and ordered a complete set of replacements from a different source and manufacturer (I hope but who can tell when they are all made in China).Thats over 40% failure rate in the twelve I had installed which is totally inexcusable, please do not ignore this warning, they are a fire risk, burning plastic from overhead.Amazon I would like a full refund of the replacement cost.EDITAmazon have made a refund of cost and I have returned the units to them after taking more pictures, the four that should signs of overheating all had a lose connection on one of the two main connection pins such that I could lift the wire out of the connection with my fingers, no resistance at all.Having made a more detailed inspection of the failed unit I found it had been repaired at some point in its life before I purchased it as a new unit and the workmanship was abysmal. see new photos

Not much to say about a light bulb other than it does the job. Previous ones lasted many years so a fair price.
