EMP9001 Simply Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Baroque Rim Imprint, 16-Piece, White (Pack of 16)

Wonderful dishes - surprised at their quality at such a great price. I have spent more than double on other dishes in the past that don't hold a candle to these. They wash well in the dishwasher, so far don't seem to be easily chipable.They are a cooler greyish white a bit like ironstone without the heft of it. They are thin but not weak. The simple design is for any decor style and for all year 'round use. TAKE NOTE: The mugs are large - not like a tea cup size - they can actually hold an entire can of soup perfectly - which is my favorite way to eat soup, with a mug! it will be nice for extra large coffee and hot chocolate, too. The bowls are a nice size for a salad appetizer but not great with cereal as they aren't super deep.I intend on buying a 3rd set in the near future, think I am going to hang on to these a nice long while.

The stoneware arrived in perfect condition and a little better quality than I expected. The off-white color is perfect with my cobalt blue glassware and dishes. They have enough design to be interesting but not over-done. I would like to see additional pieces to match, and wish they were oven-proof. Nice for the price!Thank you.

These dishes had little rough bumps on them. Inferior quality.

The price on this set is great, but don't expect them to last long. The first set of plates I ever owned were Corelle, cheap and they lasted 20 years. These plates were a great price, but two plates have already broken. First a small crack appears down the center of the plate and within a few days, the plate snaps in half. Cute, but very temporary set.

Love this set of dinnerware! Very classy, traditional style and the plates have held up well so far. I have not had issues with them being too hot out of the microwave like some others have reported. When I received my dishes I will say there were one or two (out of 8) that had some bubbles, imperfections....but I chalked that up to you get what you pay for. Given the cost, very nice set of dishes!

These plates are just what I was looking for! I searched forever too! They are elegant and practical because of the price. I will use them for everyday use. They don't get hot in the microwave. (I had purchased a pretty set from Pfaltzgraff and the food would remain cold while the plates couldn't be touched after 30 secs in the microwave, and they claimed to be microwave safe).So I LOVE this set. Shipping was fast. One bowl arrived cracked, but was immediately replaced by the company. You won't be disappointed in this set. I plan on ordering a few extra sets just in case my kids break one :)

I was looking for an off white dinnerware set that was microwave and dishwasher safe. This stoneware more than meet my expectations. I have a set of fine china that is beautiful but not practical for daily use. Unlike some of the other reviews I read regarding this product, I found no flaws or chips.Since the dinnerware is off white, any color can be added to the table presentation with colorful linens and a centerpiece for a more festive look. The large mugs are great for coffee or hot chocolate. The plates and bowls stack conveniently. The price for this dinnerware is excellent. The only negative is the shipping added nearly 50% more to the total price. However, they are well worth what I paid. I expect to use this dinnerware for years to come.

Beautiful dishes, very classic. They're not too heavy and they go with everything. The bowls are a little shallow, but good for salads or ice cream. I bought some deeper bowls from Pier 1 that match well for soups and chili. The mugs are large. The dishes are smooth and shiny and just perfect! This was my second set so I now have service for 8.The shipment was well-packed and arrived earlier than expected. I would buy from Lodging Kit Company again.
