ARTEZA Natural Wood Slices, 2.4-2.8 Inch Diameter, Set of 45, Brown Round Pine Wood Discs with Bark for Crafts, Christmas Ornaments, Centerpieces

I have decoupaged these, painted them, and stenciled them they are awesome and easy to work with. I have also had my grandsons aged 7 and 9 do the decoupaging and stenciling on them they look awesome.

Wood slices are much smaller than I expected; maybe I didn’t read all the info on it but I was expecting the pieces to be bigger; However the slices are smooth and ready for painting. They say to use a primer first, but I went right in with my gouache paint and after one layer it’s ready to continue with my design.If you’re wanting small pieces for ornaments or whatever I recommend these. If you too are wanting bigger slices, keep looking because these are ornament size.

I've been using these to create pet ornaments, landscape ornaments, etc. The quality has always been good on the first three boxes, I only have a few random ornaments break while I'm painting them. I use gouache paint, acrylic and ink for smaller details and then finished with a UV resistant spray. I ordered several boxes at the beginning of 2022, and finally got to opening the last couple of boxes and one box is unfortunately completely unusable. While I appreciate the price on these ornaments, this last box I've opened every ornament is almost 2" exactly. Whereas the other boxes every ornament was much closer to 3". I completely understand there to be some fluctuation within a box, but for an entire box to be itty bitty ornaments that are completely unusable is disappointing. I wish I had opened the box sooner because I would have tried to return it.

Great value. As should be expected, there's a slight texture to these that would make using normal markers run or bleed.They shipped without any padding. The jostling in the box definitely stripped bark off many of them. But they're still lovely.There is a slight smell to them- I would let them air out before hunching yourself over them to make your project.

I made Christmas ornaments out of these and sold a lot of them they look good and we’re just the right size for what I needed

These came carefully packed in a sturdy box. There is beautiful bark that adheres to the wood. High quality item. Costs more than others, but oh so worth the extra money. I bought a cheaper brand when I decided to continue my project and have really regretted it.

These worked great! I haven't tried other slices, but these held up well during the painting process and there was plenty of string provided. I am going to test cheaper alternatives as these were a bit on the pricier side....but overall I would recommend these!

These will do the trick if you want a rustic round.

I'm a professional artist and I make and sell a lot of pet portrait wood decorations. Was a little bit iffy buying this because so many blank wood items for crafts on amazon are poor quality or badly made and not from sustainable sources. Unlike the brand I was using previously this wood is much better quality, all of the slices that I got in the pack are fit for purpose and there aren't any splits in the wood or chunks missing out of the bark, the bark on the edges isn't crumbling or flaking off. They were also larger than I was expecting at 6-7.5cm diameter. And according to the box it's sustainable wood too. The only downside is that it's an american import, would have been nice to use british wood if possible.I did also need to sand some of the slices too to remove some of the ridges caused by sawing because I need them perfectly smooth for what I make. All in all, I'm very happy!

I’ve had these before, and they were brilliant quality. After recently buying another make and having to return due to sub standard quality and issues with them, I decided to go back to these arteza ones. Unfortunately the quality seems to have dropped a little, they are usable but very marked and several are split which I cannot use, so a little disappointed this time. Not up to what I am used to from arteza.

Absolutely love these, will be buying again I'm sure!I work in childcare and in our class we have a 'class tree'; these discs have been perfect to paste each child's face on with a little detail about them. After drilling a hole in them and threading some string through, these looks great hung up on our tree!

Arrived well packaged and as advertised. As they are untreated and real woodslices, I expected some cracking and flaking around the bark, which these do have. If this would bother you I would suggest going for a different product with treated wood.There is variation in sizes, which again I don't mind but something to consider when buying.Overall I am happy and would buy again.

No idea what type of wood these are but they smell kind of soapy, also 4 of them had massive splits in them.
