Small but Healthy Live Plant
I am writing this review now solely based on current information. If you know much about figs, it is difficult if not impossible to know if you received the type you ordered until the plant produces fruit. Sometimes you can tell by the leaves but it still has to mature before you can do that. The plant I receive was between 2-3 inches so it is small. The main thing though is that the plant I received was perfectly healthy. It was shipped in a well protected packaging in a small pot and the soil was still very moist. I have had no issues since repotted and the plant is thriving. *** NOTE *** I have not purchased from this nursery before so I cannot remark about any confidence in receiving the correct variety that I purchased. Many times when buying mail order plants, the nursery can send the wrong type and some unethical nurseries simply don’t care because it may take 2-3 years or more before you realize it is the wrong variety. Take care when buying mail order but you should expect that this is a risk ESPECIALLY with figs. My review is based on the health of the plant received and no review on the certainty of variety.

Tiny plant
Beautiful plant! I am rating this at 3 because the plant was absolutely tiny. For the price it was much too small of a tree. The tree did come in good condition but it was way smaller than expected. Edit I have had this tree for 5 months and to my surprise it grew very quickly and has been an amazing tree. I am changing my review to 5 stars.

High Hopes, Plant Died
I had really high hopes for this, and excitedly followed all the instructions. I received my plant on March 31, and waited a few weeks to put it outside while slowly introducing it to sunlight and the outside in general. I planted it in a fabric grow bag with pricey compost made for fruit trees, and put a light layer of straw on top. I tended to it daily, whether it was just checking the soil moisture, watering, etc. It didn't grow beyond the three leaves it arrived with. In early May, one leaf fell off. Last week, the other two leaves fell off. They were green the whole time and appeared healthy, but the plant had absolutely no growth whatsoever and looked the same as it did when it arrived until it suddenly dropped its leaves. I'm annoyed I bought this and wish I'd just gone to my local garden center instead - at least they offer a year warranty on plants. Save your money on this one, guys.

Small, but Hardy and Happy bearing figs w/in 4 months later!
Very small, but mighty! My husband bought the LSU Gold in March. It barely was 3 inches tall. I repotted it and it’s alive and well baring ready to eat fruit in September of 2025! I live in Northeast, Grove, Oklahoma and I’m thrilled! I am planting it in the ground in the Spring of 2026. Great Buy!

Hope it grows!
I was pleasantly surprised with how carefully this fig tree arrived. The seller did an excellent job with the packaging — the plant was secure, moist, and ready to go straight into the ground without any signs of stress. I didn’t have to do any complicated setup; it came pre-potted and was super easy to handle. After planting, the tree perked up quickly and looks very healthy. The leaves are vibrant and strong, and I can already see new growth starting to form after just a short time. I appreciate that it’s a hardy variety that can withstand colder weather, which makes me confident it will last for many seasons. Cleaning up after planting was also simple — just rinsed the pot and tools with a sponge and water. No hassle at all. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality, the way it was shipped, and the ease of planting. If you’re looking to add a fruit tree to your yard, this is a great choice. I can’t wait to harvest my first figs!

Not sure why mine is so small
I got this crop in 2025. Still alive in 2026, but sooooo little. Didn't got any fruit yet of course 😟

We got surprise frost during shipping
We got surprise frost during shipping … they perked up after 3 days of nursing. Both plants are thriving.

You get what you pay for - Super Tiny!
The picture is somewhat deceptive. This is nothing but a nursery starter plant that you would expect from Walmart buying their smallest 6 pack tray. Tiny isn't even the proper word. No way am I going to directly put it into the ground and instead..... transplanted it into a (large in comparison) 4" pot to see if it will even live. The plan is to get it healthy and maybe into a 4-5 gal container and replant it in the fall as it is way too small n delicate to go into the Texas heat. Right now, it is a give n take to see if it will even live as it is not looking very good. If I had known this, I would just have gone to a local nursery and picked out a healthy plantable size.
