Great CD player. Lousy delivery. There is no front porch. The driver tossed it in the dog pen.

Simple CD player, perfect for a nursery.

This stereo is perfect, purchased it for my sons room and it is everything we could want, sounds great too! That was my initial review of the CD player. I purchased two, one blue one pink for my kids rooms. At first I thought they were gonna be perfect, boy was I wrong. Since new they both constantly skip, with brand new CDs and older ones. To the point they stop playing and I have to gently lift the back of the player a few inches and drop it down to get the unit to play again. A lot of times when you put the cd in the unit doesn't even recognize the disc and says no disc. If one did this I would think its a bad unit but they both do this, they never leave the kids rooms and only get play at night, till the kids fall asleep and they stay off till the next night. Now less then a year after purchase the pink one is completely broken, the eye on the unit broke and nothing at all plays now. It makes me wonder how soon before my sons blue one goes! Buyer defiantly beware

The Sylvania SRCDPortable CD Player with AM/FM Radio has very good quality sound on radio and CD player. Love the small size of it as well. Would recommend it to anyone.

We bought Sylvania SRCD243 Portable CD Player with AM/FM Radio, Boombox (Blue) a month agoBought 4/19/16 for my 9 yr old granddaughter to replace her old one. It is next to her bed and is simple to use. She loves it. She listens to CDs when she goes to bed and sometimes when she is playing in her room. It never leaves her nightstand. I don't know what everyone is reviewing and Amazon lumps review for various similar products together but our player is holding up fine. Follow-up: As of June 1, it still works fine. It is very lightweight and it is probably cheaply made. As such, it won't stand up to a lot of banging around. However, it has great sound, very crisp and clear. Radio works better than the last one we had. It doesn't have an antenna on ours. She gets her favorite station on this one without an antenna and couldn't get it on the old player with an antenna.

We got this little stereo for our daughters six birthday, as she is really into music, and we figured giving her a bit of independence was a good idea. She loves it! She uses it practically every day, and is now into the idea of collect of CDs. I wouldn’t think this is the sort of radio you would want to buy for someone over the age of 10-12, but it works fantastically as a gift for kids. Pros: It works well - she’s able to put in and take out her cds no problem, it’s straightforward and to the point like an good CD player should be. It’s also loud! It’s got some decent kick too it, the bass isn’t the best as to be expected, but it works well enough to not be grating and annoying. Also, the built in radio is great - she’s been having fun channel surfing. Cons: Could use a little more bass, but overall for a gift for my little one at the price it is, I’m happy with it.

I know Curtis & Sylvania is a lower budget brand. But usually works pretty well. This is beyond low budget. You would think for almost $40 that it would have a digital tuner. Nope. Small manual tuner that you can only get a few stations due to the small tuner. CD player us garbage quality and ruins your CDs. First CD i put in there scratched it!!! This is a radio/cd player that should be priced no higher than $8.99. What a total rip off. And probably the cheapest quality & worst item I have ever bought off amazon. Oh. I almost forgot. The cord likes to fall out from the back. Oh joy. I already can't wait to throw it in the garbage!!!

The Curtis SRDC243M by Sylvania is a classic CD Player that has AM/FM radio built in in the style of a boombox. It is sturdy, made of quality materials and withstands the test of time. I've been using this model for over 20 years without issue, until a power outage caused a shortage on my old model. The audio quality is crisp and loud and it gets the job done. I recommend this to anyone who needs a simple CD player/built-in speaker combo.

This little boom box has great sound. It will skip if bumped but otherwise is very good.

Bought this for my babies nursery. Although it is a great size it stopped working after only 3 months of purchasing it. Bought it for the CD player and the CD player no longer works for no apparent reason. Had a CD playing, changed it for a night time CD and never played again. I wish I would have contacted the seller immediately but I never did. Wouldn’t recommend
