The fabric is most definitely synthetic and super uncomfortable!If that's not an issue for you and you still want them pants: as regards to size, I'm a 14 and their size 14/XL is a bit tight in the waist and not very baggy, so I'd recommend a size up. The length: I'm 5'4" and if worn on the waist they come down to my ankles, Capri style. If worn in the hips they are like normal length pants for me. Pockets are good.Because I get painful skin irritations from wearing synthetic fabrics, the honesty in the garment description is crucial - I would still like to get some real 100% cotton pants if anyone reading this find some, please let me know. Having lived in Asia, I'm used to having to buy enormous-sized clothes (which would be considered normal here in Britain!), so I ordered three sizes larger than I usually take, and they fit perfectly! They wash really well - no shrinkage, and if I hang them up while damp, I don't need to iron them when they're dry! The seams are strong and robust, and the trousers are made from very good fabric too. Length-wise, I am 5'10", and they come a shade below mid-calf on me, which makes them great to wear with long tunics, skirts, and dresses. ### ⭐⭐ Wait forever, to then just be disappointed *by G***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 March 2018* Took forever to arrive, probably the longest Amazon order I have ever placed in the last 7 years. When it did finally arrive, it had sort of old wardrobe smell on it, really unpleasant. The fabric is cheap and nasty, and the quality is simply not worth the 20 pounds, even though on the face of it that is not awfully expensive for the money. Here it is simply not worth it. The fit is odd, I am 10-12 UK, here an L is just so on the bottom, waste slightly loose on the front only, the rubber spring inside, twisting, and really loose on the legs.
