Does it also contain a musk smell or just floral?** A: In my opinion it does not. The scent was too strong for me. I gave this to my sister. She believes it has a nice fragrance as long as you spray just a little bit. She also says there is no Gardenia scent, but it does nice scent....again if you spray a small amount otherwise it can be too strong. She likes it, I didn't care for it at all. But I will add, I am very picky with my perfumes. **Q: How many hours does the smell last?** A: Well. Since I am used the the scent, I really can’t give a definitive answer. I would guess a long time because often people tell me I smell really good. I like gardenia but it’s not like I’m a gardenia lover, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this, but I am so glad I took a chance. I got a very light whiff of gardenia on that initial spritz and then I smell honeysuckle. It smells like open windows on a spring day and the light breeze gently carries the scent of springtime into your home. I’m not sure that this would be a safe blind… It is definitely not an overpowering gardenia scent. This is more like a gentle whisper of spring. A very light sweet soap sent. But for me after that initial spritz all I smell is tuberose. And unfortunately, for me that is one of my least favorite scents. I was really hoping for that creamy sultry Gardenia mixed with some yummy delicious coconut. But, on my skin and in my nose, All I get is tuberose. Bummer. Maybe someone in my family will like it and if not, it will be a lovely air freshener. In case anyone is wondering why I gave it five stars because it is a very lovely fragrance.
