## Description

This listing if for 5 x Convallaria majalis 'Lily of the Valley' planting pips, see photographs. Lily of the valley is a hardy perennial, it will thrive in a shady area that does not become too dry in summer so it's always a good idea to incorporate organic matter, such as leafmould. As part of the planting preparation the pips should be planted with the growing tip just showing above the soil surface, see listing photographs. C. majalis are rhizomatous perennials with elliptic to narrowly ovate leaves and arching racemes of small, highly fragrant, bell-shaped flowers followed by red berries. Will eventually reach up to 50cm in height, forming extensive colonies. These are top quality bulbs sourced from professional growers in Holland, and come with a first year flowering guarantee.Our bulbs are stored in climate controlled purpose built storage ensuring fresh viable bulbs throughout the season Plant this Autumn for Spring flowering. We have been notified that there is a bulb shortage this year, so get them while they last!

Review: Plants quickly settled in - The plants took to the soil quickly but growth quickly stalled because it was late in the season. (This is normal.) All seems well so far, but I'll have to wait until next spring to see if vigorous growth returns. I'm fairly sure it will. No complaints.

All dried up and tangled absolutely rubbish I had to throw them away as they broke when I tried to untangle them. That photograph is very misleading. Total waste of money.
