Picture quality looks great and the camera itself is durable. It came with most of the parts needed for installation. The instructions don't mention anything about drilling the camera to the car, they only outline using the included double sided tape. I prefer a more rugged install, so I went ahead and used the double sided tape plus two screws. Drilled 1/16" holes and attached the camera with 3/8" sheet metal screws. Sealed with waterproof epoxy. I was surprised how simple the install was. Don't be hesitant because you're worried about drilling into the car. If you already have a navigation system that works with a rear view camera, this is a great investment for the price.
