A miracle of modern audio-engineering.
Wow! I love my sound, and as a mild headphone fanatic, with multiple sets of headphones from Audio Technica, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, HyperX, HiFiMan, and Denon, am incredibly impressed. Many sets of wireless headsets have failed to impress, until I've run across these by Otufan. Never heard of the brand before, but wow, what a pleasant surprise! If you're on the hunt for a good set of wireless earbuds, move these to the top of your list. I've had these for about 2 months an am still impressed every day.I can't comprehend how they have packed so many features into such a small shape.Quality sound, comfortable and sweat-proof, 4 hour+ battery, microphone/voice-recognition, touch-controls that are easy to use, magnetic portable charger. Absolutely amazing. This is my new go-to set of headphones, and here is why:1. True wireless -- I've tried wrap-arounds like Trek AfterShockz for $150, Taotronics for $70, neither set comes close to the comfort and practicality of these earbuds.2. Amazing sound-range and audio cancellation. For something so small, to have quality treble, mids, and wait for it -- bass, which is hard to find decent bass in any wireless set. As long as you use the proper tips for your ears to seal out the world (I'm 6'0' yet still need the small flange tips), they will have some solid bass. If it's not sealed though (takes some practice), they won't be able to deliver the bass until you use the right tips or insert them correctly. Whether Drum and Bass or Electro House or Hardstyle tracks -- as long as it's a proper fit and sealed you'll get plenty of bass. Bass is not over-presented like with Dre Beats or Beyerdynamic, and these are not monitor level neutral, but balanced and enjoyable for day-to-day usage.3. Long-life battery -- by using the crook of the upper ear, they can fit in a larger battery and still have it be comfortable/stable-fit. Not only does it allow for strong bass to be provided, the battery life goes a long time. They're rated for 4 hours, but I've never it had run low, even after 3h of use.4. Semi-sporty, comfortable fit. These stay in your ear firmly, unlike Apple Airpods, enough for moderate-intensity sports (jogging is fine, sprinting might be pushing it). Sweat does not build up on them despite touching skin.5. Simple touch-controls -- No buttons to find or press without popping them out of your ear. Just a light tap -- touch-sensitive, and the pattern makes it happen. Hold left-earbud - volume up slowly. Hold right-earbud, volume down slowly. Double-tap right-earbud, next track, etc. The manual doesn't include the full list of press patterns or voice commands, but just google them. I can finally use these whether skiing or running, without having to risk them falling out from struggling to press a tiny button on the side -- the touch-controls are genius!6. Decent look, so many wireless earbuds make you look like... odd. Oversized, clunky, cables hanging out of your head. These are sleek, compact, and don't draw attention.7. Easy charger. Similar to the Apple Airpod charger, they're easy to drop into the charger. Just orient them close enough, and the built-in magnets will auto align and snap the pogo-pins into the landings for charging, really slick.8. Bluetooth 5.0 APTX -- If your player supports it (e.g. a smartphone), zero lag for bluetooth audio. If your player doesn't (stock car stereo, so Bluetooth 2.0 or lower there will be some latency, but that's a limitation of the player). The fact that these support 5.0 with APTX is just... wow, very unexpected treat.Overall, these are freaking amazing. They make for a great gift for friends and family at a price that should not be sub-$50. I would expect these traits and feature sets to me more around $120-140, what a deal, love em and they last!

High on quality, sound, practicality, comfort, and value
I needed some gym headphones and, despite being a bit of an audible, didn't want a bulky, over the ear pair. So I decided to look for wireless earbuds, with these criteria in mind: 1. Good to great sound quality 2. Water resistant 3. Reasonably priced.I considered cheaper options than these, but none of them had the same IPX rating. Additionally, now that I've listened to the Otufans, I'm convinced that none of them would've had sound quality on the same tier either. My order arrived promptly, and unboxing was great--not so much the classy packaging in little boxes or the little storage bag (that seems very durable, I might add). It was the fact that I could just open the case, take out the earbuds (they were charged and paired in seconds), slip on the included midsized eartips, and put them in and start listening. My phone found them instantly, and the process took under a minute.I took them for a real test drive to the gym next morning. The sound, by the way, IS great. My opinion is that it's colorful and dynamic but without being too loud, bassy, or brassy. Not monitor-level flat sound profile, either, but a perfect medium for enjoying a broad range of music. The highest highs get only the least bit tinny and the lowest basses a tad muddy when the volume is cranked ALL the way up, but so do headphones 2+ times this price level, and I'm not going to be using them at full blast, anyways. The workout experience was flawless as well. All the other gym sounds were SO easy to ignore, as they were either inaudible or close to it. The touch functionality makes it incredibly easy to switch tracks, change volume, or pause without having to fish for your phone (and it works well with sweaty hands, unlike my phone). It works every time, too, with only a slight delay that doesn't bother me. As far as fit? Snug, secure, and comfy. My ears didn't get achy in about three hours of wearing, and despite working up a nice sweat the buds didn't show a hint of wanting to slip around in or out of my ears. This was no matter what position I was in, or what exercise I performed. I actually TRY to shake them out, and can't--yet they're easy to remove. Battery life has been a non-issue, as I don't need them for more than a few hours. But I do find myself charging them throughout the day so I can pop them back in when I get home from work to use them some more! They are SO practical, and SO close to the sound quality of my big wired headphones that hurt my ears (that also cost more than double), I think they have become my go-to without me even realizing it. If that doesn't say enough about my opinion of these earbuds, if you're thinking about it, just get a pair.

Otufan wireless earbuds only work thru my iphone as the BT pairing.
Options above don’t exactly match my review issues. Overall, 3+-4 stars. Sound quality alone assessment is very subjective depending on one’s age, baseline hearing health hearing and the device transmitting the sound. So, I’d give it 4+. Sound volume is another thing entirely. I’m unable to adjust my TV sound either up or esp down when I transmit by either a Taotronics or a Trond Tx/Rx device. The Trond device has a volume control but it’s only good for use as a receiver. These Otufan wireless buds are supposed to work with long press - left for lower and right for higher. For TV watching they simply don’t work for me. Perhaps an newer TV with a built in BT would work. If I use my iPhone as the audio source the earbuds volume works as intended, both up and down with long presses. My other wired BT earbuds have a volume control so they work fine with those same Transmitters connected to the TV with Audio out or Optical out. Thus, for my main interest being private audio for TV, these Otufan’s simply aren’t compatible with my 2 different wireless transmitters. If there is some nuance I’m missing, I do not know. I have reached out via 3 different ways to Otufan and I get no response. No help. 1 star taken off for lack of support. Noise cancellation is fairly good, maybe 3+ since the rubber tips fit me well. Battery life is only about 3 hrs max. They charge fairly fast. I like the case for multiple chargings then the case must be charged. Conclusion: limited applicability with full functions ONLY when connected to my iPhone BT.
