Great budget speakers for the price!
I ordered these to install in my beater 1990 Bronco II. I didn't want to spend a lot, as the only real reason I was putting in a system was my town's new hands-free cell phone law. I needed something cheap so I could use my phone's bluetooth. These replaced the crappy factory Ford speakers in the doors and back seat.Sound is decent. In the front I have the Chaos Exxtreme CH5530, and in the back the CH5720. They're mated to an inexpensive Boss Audio head unit (625UAB). Installation is straight-forward, just like with any replacement speakers. The included speaker wire is ridiculously thin. Luckily I didn't have to use it, I just cut the factory plug off and soldered the speakers in. Great clarity with zero static or interference from an inadequate wire. I will say that if I were having to run new wire I would buy a heavier gauge rather than use what came with the speakers (I'd guess it's 22 ga., but could be thinner!). That would result in losing a star for me due to the added cost. But as I said before, since I was able to solder the factory wiring it wasn't an issue. While you can't push a lot of bass through them at high volumes without some distortion, you can get plenty of thump for an older guy while retaining the sound clarity. I didn't expect these to be competition grade speakers at this price point. And they're not. But rather than being disappointed by stupidly cheap speakers at a cheap price, I was surprised and pleased by economy speakers at a stupidly cheap price. For 15 bucks for the 5530s and 16.50 for the 5720s, these speakers are a screaming bargain. Would I put them in my Vette? No. But they're perfect for my every-day beater. The perfect low-end solution when you don't want to spend a lot because your ride's a hoopty! lol

Definitely worth the money
Wow, so I ordered these on thursday night on amazon from VM Innovations and by saturday they were here. As far as the actual product goes. I bought these speakers to replace a blown factory speaker. These are 2 way speakers so the sound quality is good, especially for the price. Install was easy for the most part. I hade to drill some holes in the mount from the factory speaker mount in my front door. I have only replace one so far and you can definitely hear the difference. These are absolutely worth the price....BUT understand that these are not Alpine speakers that will blow your car away. For that you would need an amp, and if your gonna buy an amp, your not gonna pay 20 dollars for 2 speakers anyway. These are excellent replacement speakers i hope to upgrade after christmas and use these to sell the car with. If you want amazing sound and bass, get alpine, if you want 2 replacement speakers you have found them.

BMW E38 doors. Great for the price
I needed 5.25in 4ohm speakers for my rear doors. These fit perfectly. Sound great. We’re not expensive at all. Wish they had 8ohm speakers more my rear deck.

Product was too small
Too small for the 2006 Lincoln town car even though it said it was for that car

Great budget speakers
I used two sets of these in 6.5" round to replace the blown out JBL speakers in a 2003 toyota avalon xle. These not only sound better than the JBL's did when they were new, but are about 900 dollars less than the dealership wants to replace the JBL speakers. If you have a drill and some basic wiring knowledge (very basic), as well as some experience pulling the door panel off of your car, you can easily replace your old speakers with these. The front speakers in the avalon come in a plastic housing that angles them downwards for some reason, and once you remove the old speaker from the plastic housing, this easily fits in and replaces it with almost no trouble at all (just drill holes to match the housing). They also work very well to replace the back door speakers in the avalon, which are something like 3.5 inches. I just removed the rear door speakers and the housing and threw it away, then just drilled out the correct hole pattern in the door of the car in the same slot, and screwed these in. They work so much better than the JBL's that I'm thoroughly happy. 32 dollars to replace 4 blown out speakers is a great deal. Also, even though the factory JBL's are 2 ohm and these are 4 ohm, they work without a hiccup. I'd definitely reccomend them, and I'd buy them again.

The included wiring is something like 20 awg
Worth it. I grabbed these for my 1990 XJ Cherokee to replace the blown factory speakers. I already had an aftermarket head unit in the truck when I bought it, but somebody hacked the wiring all to hell. Fixed that up and found the speakers were too far gone to even be bearable. Searched here for 5-1/4" speakers and these came up as the cheapest, $18 or so a pair. The included wiring is something like 20 awg, but you really only need like 4" of it to splice into your factory wiring, so increased resistance by small wire gauge isn't any real concern. They fit in the factory locations with no modification whatsoever, they even fit behind the factory grilles as to remain inconspicuous.Result? They sound amazing for what they are. With a cheap aftermarket head unit, like my Pioneer, it sounds many times better than many 90's era factory stereo systems. They don't distort until you really push the limits. A great purchase all around. I would buy these again, even if the price goes up a few bucks.
