can you cut these to and link together to make 1x10m run of lights?

Yes you can, although there is a section where the two lengths join that is cable, rather than lights, but it can be made into a small loop so the lights appear to be continuous. Hope that makes sense/helps.

Are they silicone/rubber coated? Some people say yes some say no, anyone ordered recently?
