Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 Autotuner Fuel Management: Performance Tuning Software (Fits 4-Pin Harleys) 2007-2013 Touring FLH/FLT, 2007-2011 Dyna FXD, 2007-2010 Softail FXST/FLST, 2007-2013 Sportster XL

I have FP3 on my 14 Fatboy 103. Works well. Bought this for my 09 Road King. Upon install could NOT get it linked to bike. Called V&H. Excellent customer service. It took two calls but finally able to get it linked. Problem is, my 09 RK ECM does NOT allow the FP3 to view various or adjust maps. V&H had to build a map for me to download. Once downloaded and accepted things linked, but I cannot input NEW map myself. V&H told me they have to build me maps for this bike should I change hardware. I CAN manipulate the map V&H built for me so that's OK. The FP3 did have the RK running better and certainly allowed me eliminate the decel pop which I did not care for. I'm still trying things slowly. I like the FP3, but for the price I wish I would have known limitation which seems more like a Harley aspect more than a V&H one.

The support staff at V&H was awesome in creating a custom map for my bike.

Just what I need to get bike running great after a few upgrades. Very easy to use and I didn't have to pay a mechanic to re tune the bike

The only part that was a problem was the only tune it would allow me to install was stock no add-ons. So called V&H through the app and they sent me a tune for my pipes made a big difference on performance

It works great and is easy to use. Lots of YouTube videos for reference. I hate that you have to be next to your bike with the ignition on in order to do anything with the application. So keep your battery charged before starting to use it. Customer service is great and essential to the process except for basic functionality.

This is my 2nd FP3. I have another on my 2010 Street Bob. If you change your air cleaner , add slip ons or exhaust you need to get one of theses. V&H will also make a custom tune for you, if you can't find what works for you in the many tunes they have already. I can re flash in 5 minutes or less maps now. It is pricey but well worth it to wake up your Harley. Great , sound and performance now on My 2011 Ultra limited 103CI.

REF:2010 Harley FLHTCU Ultra Classic, 46000 miles. I'm very happy with the results of the Fuelpak FP3 . It really woke up the motor with the common stage one upgrade. I did 3 autotune sessions, applying each one for the first 2 runs, and finish on the 3rd. Then I uploaded the map to V&H for review. They modified the map, and I downloaded it to the bike. They also recommended I set Throttle Progressivity to Aggressive, which I did. I'm only 300 miles into my last map flash, and it pulls like a train, and it's running better each time I take it out. Last fuel check was 44 mpg. I most certainly would buy this again.I you buy this, please read the instructions. Please note, It will run VERY poorly on autotune, because it disables some ECM features while in autotune mode (it's in the documentation). Also note, adaptive fuel trims are cleared each time you flash a map. After a map flash, it may take up to 2 tanks of gas for the adaptive fuel trims to recalibrate.The only con in my view was its price. This tuner is locked to your bike via its VIN. You can't unplug this, and tune another Harley. But you can read Diagnostic Codes from another Harley with the same interface. The FP3 is very expensive, but if you consider the support side of the equation, and the number of parameters it can tweak, it really is an excellent value. Like I said before, I most certainly would buy this again.
