Excellent to my Hubitat-powered Smart Home
I have a few closets that have smart switches in them that I wanted to improve by adding contact sensors to. The contact sensors allow the light in the closet to automatically come on when people open the door and automatically turn off when the door is closed. My family tends to turn lights on and then leave them on, so this was a quick and easy way to fix that problem. These sensors are lightweight, easy to install and very responsive. I like that they take standard watch batteries, so it will be easy to replace them when the time comes. They are fast (almost instant) and do exactly what I need them to. They were also easy to pair with my Hubitat hub.I would definitely buy again.

Serious problems
I purchased this contact sensor instead of a SmartThings Multi Sensor because the Amazon page listed it as using a larger CR2 battery instead of a CR2450. I hoped that it would last longer so I wouldn't have to change batteries so often. It uses the Zigbee standard just like SmartThings, and was listed for the same price. Unfortunately, while the AduroSmart ERIA sensor has nice packaging, a good look, and a 2-year warranty, the positives end there. As for the negatives:1. It does not actually use a large CR2 battery, but instead takes an even smaller CR2032--the size commonly used in car remote entry keychains. It will likely last even shorter than a SmartThings sensor's battery.2. It does not actually work! You have to insert the battery and then press an internal button with an included pin, but on doing so nothing happens. My theory is that the positive battery contact is too small and does not touch the battery well. Either way, this item is DOA.3. The magnet appears to be a little bit weaker than a SmartThings magnet (tested by determining the distance at which it would pick up a ferrous screw).4. Unlike the standard SmartThings Multi Sensor (for the same price), this AduroSmart ERIA sensor does not sense temperature or tilt (orientation). While I could send it in for warranty service, I plan to simply return the product because the tiny battery is exactly the opposite of what I expected. It's sad; I had high hopes for this product, but it disappointed me in every regard.

Good sensor but does not take CR2 battery
Purchased and returned I was misled about battery it does not take CR2 it takes a 2032 button battery only reason why I purchased it cuz it said it took a CR2 because the batteries last much longer but if you don't mind changing the batteries every couple months it is a good responding sensor

Easy to set up
I purchased the door/window sensor and a motion sensor along with some more colored lights. Easy to set up and I was surprised how small they both are. Setup the motion sensor in laundry room. Perfect! And door sensor on our front door. Always know when someone comes in. Super cool. The colored lights are great! And fun!

Eria door sensor DOA
This is the second one I got and had to return. It hooks up to WIFI with no problems but the door sensor does not work. Sensor will not show open just shows closed all the time.

no tollerance
Item does work and arrived early. The gap tollerance to make connection limits the mounting options. I have other brands that are better in that area

Connection to wink challenging
It did not pair with my Wink System. It seems to want a hub to be able to connect. I’m sure it’s a great piece but in this day and age a hub to connect to a major hub seems redundant.
