We ordered a third party hose which seemed to be of a similar quality but although it said the fitting was universal it did not fit our Mira shower properly. The Mira hose does fit and the fittings look to be good quality. Slight niggles? The hose is shorter than the chrome Mira hose. At 1.25m this is a bit short especially for tall people. Would it have cost much more to make it 1.4m or 1.6m? Initially it has a twisted memory (!) and will take some weeks to get this out its system. Less slight niggle. The cost.
