We have had our 1.5 year old cocker/springer mix Greta for 6 weeks. She was settling in so well, and we dreaded spaying her bc of the cone and trying to keep her quiet. She was spayed 5 days ago and this suit has been AMAZING. She was in a soft cone the first 24 hours and would NOT STOP going after her stitches. She scratched up her shaved sides trying to get to them. It was so stressful, so we gave her a sedative. Her Suitical arrived the next day and it's been phenomenal. She stopped going for her stitches entirely, and relaxed so much. And so then her other scrapes stopped being irritated and bugging her, and they are healing too. We haven't had to use the sedative with this suit. She is SO MUCH HAPPIER. The material is comfortable, and she is not annoyed by it at all. She lets us take it on and off...she does not care. She's healing up wonderfully. It's really easy to unsnap and kind of snap over her back when we take her outside to go to the bathroom. This is a product that is absolutely worth trying for your dog if you know they can't deal with the cone. I cannot overstate how happy we are to have this. Greta is the sweetest, most wonderful dog and I'm thankful that this recovery suit has made a difficult time MUCH less stressful. This is worth the purchase. We got an S+ for her. She's 27 lbs.

We've had many post surgical suits for our various dogs. This suit provided the best fit with adjustable snap closure , providing full coverage of the spay/neuter site. It allows for easy potty breaks with rolling back the material and snapping it into place. There is also room to adhere a maxi pad to help with surgical site drainage -preventing soiling the suit. I bought 2 suits to rotate out while 1 is being washed. I've washed and reused this suit for my golden doodles and now for my lab. I purchased a high-end vet-created surgi suit with velcro and my lab was able to get it off in the middle of the night. I switched to this suit and he was Not able to get it off nor did we encounter any other issues.

This recovery suit is the best purchase I have made for my dog. She is comfortable in it and is so glad not to be wearing the dreaded cone of shame anymore.

Sturdy material and worked well for my Stella after her spay surgery. She looked fashionable, it kept her warm and she avoided the humiliation of the Cone of Shame. It was also easy to roll it up and snap it out of the way for potty time. Washed well. My only criticism is that it would be a little stretched out and long on her by the end of the day but she’s also built like a little fire hydrant so it could be more of an issue with her body type than with the suit.

The Suitical worked great after my nearly 1 year old pitbull's spay surgery! We endured 5 unhappy, restless nights in the cone before we received this and her first night was totally happy and relaxed. I ordered this and one from another brand. I am sending the other one back as it was too complicated. The Suitical is so easy to put on and my pittie stays still while suiting up. After a couple of nights, I discovered putting a rag in the suit where the drainage occured keeps the Suitical clean much longer.

I purchased the medium size for my 16.5 week old, 36-ish pound Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy who just had spay surgery, and wanted to find an alternative to her cone of shame which was really frustrating her during an already painful time. The fit was absolutely perfect. I had a hard time measuring her because she wouldn't sit still, but she is around 25 inches from nape of neck to base of tail. Putting the suit on was no problem, but once I let her go, she immediately started trying to bite at the leg part of the suit which she was able to reach. This is the first piece of clothing of any kind I've ever put on her, so I think she was just a little freaked by it. She ignored my "leave it" commands so I ended up having to put her awful cone back on just until she gets used to the suit. My only concern is her trying to bite the staples through the cloth when I take the cone off, so I will have to watch her and see how she does. The material feels well made and sturdy. She's only been wearing the suit for a couple of hours so I'll post an update later, but so far so good! Dec 28 UPDATE: I'm still satisfied with the Suitical suit. My puppy did continue to bite the snaps at the back of the suit, but I think this was mostly because the back of the suit would ride up her backside right under her tail, which might have been uncomfortable. She never tried to bite through the suit at her staples which was my biggest worry. The only annoying part for me was having to keep unsnapping the suit and rolling it up every time I took her outside to do her business. After about a week of wearing the suit, the chest snap that holds the rolled up suit unsnapped a couple of times and she peed on the hanging part of the suit. But even with these annoyances, I consider them minor and would still have gotten the suit as a cone alternative. My pup got so used to not being able to lick her incision that a couple of times I forgot to snap her suit closed after being outside and she still left her incision alone.

My 7 month old aussiedoodle literally ate the cone in pretty short order after being spayed and having a hernia repair. It was quite apparent that the noise inside the cone made her anxious as she tried hard to get it off before she figured out how to get rid of it. Obviously, sutures need to be protected, so I went on line looking for an option to the cone. After reading about the Suitical and the reviews, I ordered the pink one. I was SOOO pleased to receive the order in two days, just in time! Putting it on the dog was easy, she didn't fight me, in fact, she seemed to like it, kinda' what I imagine a thunder shirt might be like. Folding it up before she went outside was easy, the snaps are perfect. It's important to let air help in the healing, so the Suitical can't be worn all the time - just watch your pooch whenever it's off. Washing is important to make sure any leakage won't cause any problem, but the suitical takes two days to air dry. This is a great option for any abdominal surgery - I'm taking it to my vet's tomorrow!

This Suitical is a fantastic product! We purchased it for our 5 month old Malamute who recently got spayed. We didn't want to have to do the cone of shame, and we felt like a T-Shirt just tied at the waist wouldn’t stay in place. This worked perfectly and is very well made! At the time she was about 24” long and 35lbs so we got the medium. It fit her perfectly, however her surgery was delayed 2 weeks, so in hindsight the M+ or L may have been better for her. She wore it for 2 full weeks and seemed very comfortable with it. We decided to always keep it unsnapped and just snapped everything together on her back so that she could go to the bathroom without us snapping and unsnapping. Doing it this way still covered her stitches and kept everything in place. It was great to have the option to use the full suit or snap it more like this. We would recommend this product 100%!

Our bulldog was spayed so needed something to cover her tummy scar for a few days. My advice would be to measure your pet correctly to achieve a perfect fit. I did find putting the suit on upside down worked for us so the clip to pull the suit up so they can pee pee etc was onher back rather than on her tummy scar. But overall I do recommend as it did the job and washed beautifully

Also als erstes vorweg : Wenn man die passende Größe hat ist es ein super Anzug! Bei uns hat die erste Bestellung leider garnicht gepasst..... Laut der Tabelle sollte man bei 78cm Rücken länge XL nehmen.. Dieser war aber viel zu groß, was evt so war, da meine Hündin nur kurzes Fell hat und sehr schlank ist.... Jetzt in M passt er super! So und nun zum Produkt : Ich bestellte den Anzug da meine Hündin mit jetzt 12 Jahren langsam anfängt ihre Blase nicht mehr so unter Kontrolle zu haben. Die Höschen hat sie sofort ausgezogen.... Und da sie ein Sofa kuschel Mäuschen ist, wollte ich das auch beibehalten, aber ohne ihr Pippi drauf..... So ein Anzug erschien mir als gute Möglichkeit. Dieser Anzug ist sehr stretching, passt sich dem Körper gut an und lässt sich super an und ausziehen. Was ich super praktisch finde sind die Druckknöpfe am hinteren Bereich des Rückens. So muss ich ihr den Anzug wen wir raus gehen nicht immer ausziehen.... Sondern offne ihn, kremple ihn nach vorne und wir können gehen. Was ich auch sehr gut finde, im Unterbauch Bereich bis hin zum After ist der Stoff verstärkt, da der Stoff generell schön dünn ist, kann der Hund durch das verstärkte Stück nach einer Bauch /Unterleibs OP. Die Wunde nicht so reizen und man kann Einlagen wunderbar einkleben. Ich werde defentitiv noch 2-3 bestellen. Damit wir den getragenen zwischendurch auch mal waschen können.

Meine Hündin mußte kastriert werden und um ihr Halskragen oder Trichter ersparen zu können, habe ich diesen Body gekauft. Er paßt wie angegossen, zwickt nirgends, engt nicht ein. Sie akzeptiert ihn problemlos und ist der absolute Star bei den Kontrollbesuchen in der Tierklinik.

Zu Ersatzzwecken habe ich mir diesen Body für meine Hündin bestellt, damit ich zwischendurch auch wechseln kann. Dieser Body ist richtig gut! Das Material ist etwas fester und gut verarbeitet, sodass hier so schnell nichts ausleiert oder kaputt geht. Deutlich bessere Qualität als der Body eines anderen Herstellers. Würde ich definitiv wieder kaufen und kann ich sehr empfehlen!
