Very pleased with my purchase. East to instal and working well. Put app on my ‘phone and very useful feature to be notified if alarm is activated when not at home. Thoroughly recommend.

Easy to install in the place of an old alarm. Easy to set up in Homekit. I’ve linked mine to cut power to the ventilation system to stop the spread of smoke and switch on the external light above the front door to help with evacuation after dark.

Netatmo has got to have not only an expensive range of smart home products, but also the worst This smoke alarm is marketed to have a 10-year battery life, but I’m only at just under 5 years. And I am already receiving a low battery notification. I also had their doorbell, which lasted only 2 years and was bricked after a firmware update. Avoid this brand at all costs! Save yourself some money and sanity.

This smoke alarm was easy to set up & link to HomeKit. With it being natively supported by HomeKit you can link your lights, locks, blinds, ect to it for them to operate in the event of an alarm. Unfortunately tho the cons outweigh the pros. Firstly the build quality is pretty poor. These can’t be interlinked together. The audible alarm is quite low. And there is no carbon monoxide detection. Compared to the nest smoke alarm that’s only £20 more this is rubbish. The nest can be interlinked, has carbon monoxide detection, loud siren, pre warns you via voice when testing, has a night light & feels much better made. (Can also be added to HomeKit via homebridge) Taking these points into account the netatmo is getting replaced with another nest.

This was a replacement for my Nest smoke detector that had informed me that it was 10 years old and was no longer able to function! The Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarm fitting was easy and I was able to use the pervious fixing holes. The app was working very quickly, though I did need to enter the WiFi credentials.

This product was easy to install and setup. It worked well for the first couple Years and integrated seamlessly with Apple HomeKit, which was the main reason for my purchase. However, these smoke detectors are meant to have a 10yr battery life in line with the intended lifespan of the device. The manufacturer has designed it so the battery cannot be replaced. I purchased 2 of these in Oct 2020 and the batteries in both have died less than 4 years on and the whole unit will now need to be replaced.

Excellent build quality and clean design. Comes with clear instructions and all the fittings. I have an array of Netatmo products (cameras, sensors) around the house, and Netatmo have never disappointed.

Easy to install and setup, looks a smart bit of kit and dose exactly what they said it would do. Only bought 2 to start with now I’m happy with them I’m going to o put more round my house

Produit conforme, appairage facile avec l’application NETATMO, fonctionne parfaitement avec homekit. J’ai reçu le produit le 19/01/2024. Mais il est inscrit dessus 07/2021, le détecteur est donc valable jusqu’à 07/2031. Dommage pour une validité de 10ans…
