I bought this for my three year old grand-daughter. Some pieces are questionably too small, but she doesn't tend to put things in her mouth anymore - but for a 3 year old I would still only play with this toy while you are sitting with them. Unfortunately my granddaughter is not overly interested in playing with it but I am keeping the item because I am hoping within this coming year she will develop an interest. My guess is that if you have a 4, 5, 6 or 7 year old they will really enjoy playing with this case of beads. It comes with some jewelry already assembled - a few banded bracelets and rings. There are headband pieces and rings to make. Just plenty of ways to stimulate your child's imagination!

My niece just celebrated her fourth birthday, and she's been getting into the whole princess thing -- which I figure is a great way to encourage some early skills in making our own favorite things! These beads are great for her age. We spent about an hour together learning how they stack together (mixing innies with outies) and how to support the beads so they snap together, and ever since then she's been beading it up all on her own. It's great for her creativity and hand-eye development, and while you'd think all the little pieces might get lost, the carrying case they come in really does a good job of keeping it all together. We don't get to see each other very often just now so it's really special to know that she is still playing with these. I can't wait to see what we can make next time we get together!

Great assortment of beads! Snapped together easily and stayed together while wearing. 4 and 7 year old granddaughters loved making necklaces, bracelets and rings with them. Really enjoyed the letter beads, just wish there were doubles of some of the letters. Plastic storage box beads came in was small perfect size for little hands.

My 2 year old daughter, 5 & 10 year old nieces played with these things for hours. They made rings, bracelets, headbands, necklaces, even what they call the worlds longest snake. It was fun watching them play, I even made a few bracelets with my daughter. My only complaint would be a few of the pieces wouldn’t fit with the others. But we found maybe 4 out of 500 so that wasn’t bad. I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone with small children that like to put things into their mouths to purchase this set, it has small pieces but my 2 year old is going on 42 (she has a very old soul) & never been interested in putting things/toys into her mouth & she had a blast with this set!

I ordered this for my great granddaughter and she absolutely loves it and is constantly changing up her necklace or bracelets and wearing a variety of rings. She’s 4 years old and the snap on beads are very age appropriate. They make a fantastic gift and the handy little case that they come in is great for keeping the beads all in one place. I would buy it again and again and highly recommend these beads as gifts. My great granddaughter loves them and they keep her busy and it is great in her developing her own ideas.

My 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter and so much fun with these. Lots of beads and accessories. She loves making bracelets, rings headbands and long necklaces. Most are easy to snap together - a few are difficult and a few have broken - but there are so many. Lots of colors and the storage box is a huge help to keep them together. Love this!!

Purchased a s a gift for a friend’s daughter. I went ahead and pre-made a few items prior to wrapping it so she can wear right away or tear apart or add to it. I think she is going to love it. Not sure how her mom will feel about it because of all the tiny pieces. It did come with about 20 rings, about 5 headbands, and about 15 bracelets which I thought was a bit excessive. I would rather have had more bead variety than so many of the larger pieces. But it’s a gamble since they say it is “random”.
