Very wide bottom suitable for rice dishes which need more surface area, thick and sturdy 100% value for money. I cooked Biryani rice dish in it.

I got this for my mom for xmas. She loves it! We needed a big pot for our soups and such! Good size.

I am rating this pot with five stars although I haven’t cooked with it yet and I only just received it, but I can tell from all the positive reviews and having it up close in my hands, that the pot itself is wonderful. I’m very happy with the purchase… All except… incredibly my pot top is bent, and I’m brokenhearted ….because I really do need the top to sit flat on the top of the pot. The reviews that I read helped me to decide to purchase this pot and I am grateful for those reviews, which is the reason why I am submitting one, but I hate it that the top is bent and don’t really understand it as the quality seems good over all.Don’t know what I will do. I don’t wanna return it, but…Update… Just made my first pot of broth….this pot is the perfect size, perfect quality!Broth came out beautifully… glad I purchased it!

Great for those large gathering meals. This pan is very durable and great for making carnitas, egg rolls, soup or whatever. It is the perfect size for the stovetop and cleans up well.

I got this 20 qt. brazier pot to make the meat filling for my Puerto Rican pasteles. This time I made close to 28 lbs. of chicken thighs plus all the aromatic vegetables and herbs necessary to make the meat as delicious as possible. Everything fit perfectly with a bit of room to spare. The only downfall for me is that I have an electric stove, and this thing is so big that my burner covers a very small part of the bottom of the pot. I found I had to run the stove almost on high for the entire pot to heat up. Then, I had to keep it on high until everything was heated through allowing the heat to be distributed throughout without any issues. At this point, I was able to turn it down to medium low and allow it to simmer for a bit with the pot retaining the heat. Nonetheless, it’s an adjustment I can very happily make for the ease of making almost 30 lbs. of chicken in a brazier pot (caldero) instead of a huge 16 qt. stock pot.
