The best of its kind
I have used this product in the past and was afraid that it would no longer be available. I was happy to have found these, as they are the absolute best in class. I have never had one fail. The only downside is that they did not come with a spindle, but fortunately, I had one from a previous purchase. Shipping was timely and the price was reasonable.

Best CD Media I have used in 24 years
I have been burning CD media for 24 years, these Taiyo Yuden/Victor Advanced CDs sold under a JVC brand are the best I have used. Recommend for audio or data storage. If you think optical media is still the best long-term media storage option (it is) and you are looking for a CD format, this is for you. Silver lacquer backing. Keep clean, store properly and out of the sun and these will last. Zero coasters with over 140+ burns on these. I wish I had thought to find this sort of quality 15 years ago. In my opinion, worth the premium price. Made in Japan, not China!

You might as well spend the extra money
I read bad reviews of Maxell, Sony, and Verbatim discs but decided to try the Maxells. In the first 20 CDs I encountered a 25% failure rate. Returned the Maxells and decided to pay the extra money to try these JVC discs. They claim to have the lowest error rate in the industry, and apparently that's true. I burned 20 of these and had a zero failure rate. Frankly, if you increase the price per CD to include the failure rate on the Maxells' ,(25%), and also figure the time wasted burning discs only to find they do not pass verification, these JVC discs are probably priced the same, or even a bit cheaper. Excellent product, I'm hooked!!

They work great except on my Cambridge CXC
These CDR's work great and sound really good on all but one of my CD players. They sound as good or better than the original CD's in my vehicles. I leave them in my vehicles and have no issues with degradation like some other CDR's. They do not work on my home system Cambridge CXC CD transport. The issues with the CD transport could be because these CDR's are not music CDR's with the music CD code. My transport is from a British company. It is still illegal to copy your CD's in the UK so they must have included programming in the transport to prevent Non-music CDR's from playing on it (even on their USA version transport). I would still buy them again because they are such good quality.

Very good quality. Did not experience any defectives. Purchased 200 disks and no failures
I wanted top quality CD-R discks for archiving of old audio reel to reel tapes. I purchased two of these recently (total of 200 disks) and they all worked perfectly. Previously I had purchased a 100-pack at Office Depot of some Verbatim CD-R discs and experienced about a 5% failure. So even though these JVC discs are much more expensive, I highly recommend them if you are doing important archivals. Not worth taking a chance on fairlures.

These are the highest quality discs!
I could not find any discs that would work in my Marantz cdr630 cd recorder but someone had told me to try these as a last resort. Many people thought because the unit was old that the laser was getting weak. That was not the problem it was just that all the disc's you can buy locally now are all junk. These discs work flawlessly and I highly recommend them for any finicky equipment or if you just want a quality product to burn music on.
