This oil gives a slight buttery flavor, no coconut flavor at all. Good price, not as expensive as some others. Consistency is like solidified grease so you'll spoon in scoops. Seems to have a high smoke point but I use a popper that gets very hot. Covered I don't notice much. It does a good job of not burning the popcorn.
