You can either eat it on a slice of a small baguette with a thin slice/shaving of butter then a pat of pate or as my husband ( who is French/American) likes I lightly toast a piece of white bread, instead of the baguette and cut it into 4 squares . Put shaved butter and pate on after it has cooled.
