Great Quality For The Money
This wrench is high quality and seems very accurate also. The locking ring is a nice feature and assures your setting doesn't change during tightening. I bought two cheaper models and returned them both before moving up to this one and I'm glad I made the investment.

Tested once it arrived just as you expect with a Proto brand it delivered. Very accurate nice case built to last. I have an old one that has to be over 20 years old still accurate to a small margin.

Excellent wrench. Well built and accurate. Has a good feel while using it. I primarily use this for rebuilding Ford modular V-8's which are sensitive to torque specs on the torque-to-yield bolts. After 20 plus engine rebuilds not one failure has occurred. This torque wrench is highly recommended.

Looks great. Functions flawlessly. I have a couple craftsman torque wrenches that do not come close to measuring up to this wrench. It might be twice the price of craftsman, but the value is four fold.

Made in the USA. Torque wrenches are about trust, and so knowing that it is made by a reputable company in the USA gives me peace of mind. The calibration paper is filled in my hand by the inspector.Nice quality wrench.Only gave this ratchet 3 stars because after 4 hours of actual usage over a 9 year period, about four of the 3/8" sprocket head's gears stripped and I had to order a repair kit: Proto Stanley J6006RK 3/8" Drive Ratchet Head Repair Kit - Torque Wrench. I've been using ratchets for 50 years and this is the first time I've ever had a ratchet head fail on me. The good news is that the repair kit is about $30 and it will take me about 5 minutes to complete. I did not bang, drop, or abuse the ratchet... I have been super careful with my handling of it. Going forward I'm going to be a bit more careful about making sure the ratchet head is fully clicked into the gear before I apply pressure to tighten a bolt.
