I have yet to find any of these tube headbands that printed both inside and out.On to all the good things!1. They are super soft.2. It's easy to change the tension by rolling them up (vs scrunching it together). The more times you roll it, the tighter it gets. ie- roll it just a couple times for a headband that stays put, roll it a ton for a suitable ponytail holder on dense, long hair.3. The multi-functionality, which is obviously the point, but my quantity of uses for them extremely exceed my expectations. For instance, I can roll an ice (or heat) pack into it as I'm making it into a headband and temperature regulate very easily by putting one on each wrist as well as on my head. I find myself using them much more often than just for camping.4. The patterns. I got the 12 pack, and all of the patterns are really decent. Some are more geometric, others more abstract, ... It's not difficult to match a different one for each outfit. There are also some very muted patterns that my Very conservative dressing husband is even comfortable wearing.5. Small space. Because they are literally tubes of thin fabric, they pack down very small. I don't backpack, so I'm not sure on weight, but all 12 fit into a pint sized zip bag with room for more. I definitely didn't feel like I was wasting space or overpacking by bringing them all.6. Care. Not seeing any washing instructions, (could have been on the packaging- that's Long gone now though) I threw them in the washer on a Cold Wash, then hung them to dry. It was super easy and they did great.The bottom line is that after having tried a few other similar tube headband things, these were the best. I will be getting more at some point. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a value! Mom approved! *by D***! on January 27, 2018* My kids love these. I no longer have to tell them to cover their ears because they love the colors and they're light but keep the wind off. If you want something heavy for something like... oh...sitting around in the wind ice-fishing... These are not for you.... I think they are a little too light for truly bitter weather but for where we live (mild winters) or if you are going out to be active, they are perfect. They are soft and stretchy such that the kids will pull one down to cover their neck (and not feel choked) then make a beanie out of another and cover their ears too. When a bad cold snap came in for 5 days we found we could put on 2 - one at the neck and ears and then pull a hoodie over them easily. And it wasn't too bulky nor restrict movement. For sports in chilly weather my kids liked to keep one on their necks to pull over their mouth cold ears or their whole head while on the bench. There's enough in this package to easily mix & match colors and have some fun with them. I like it because they are a good buy too. Winter will soon be over (end of February) here but we will probably buy another set next year to add to the fun with more color and pattern choices. I would recommend to a friend. There's such a great variety to choose from. They are soft and stretchable and I can wear them as a headband or even as a covering for my braids at night while I am sleeping. They don't seem as if they will lose their shape anytime soon.
