The balls are the perfect size. I use them at our lake house to mark an area to keep boaters from coming to close to our dock.The down side is they are no longer orange. They are only two months old and its like all of the inside paint has just run out. I now have opaque pink balls. This makes them not real easy to see at night.disappointing for sure!

These are one of my best purchases!!! Tired of trying to finagle fenders so my baby (boat) does not get beat up. These keep boat well away from dock better than I could have dreamed. Where have these been all my life?!?! Seem well made but if I had to buy new ones every season would do so GLADLY.

Update June, 2021: When we hauled our boat gear out last week, the red floating buoy is now grayish-white! What’s worse is that the second one that we have not used yet but stored as a back up has also lost it’s color. These were stored in an unheated garage and the winter temperatures in upper Michigan are well below freezing. No idea what happened to the color! They are still very useable but will miss the colorful buoy we purchased and dropped one star on my original review.Update 11/08/20: The buoy held up well all summer, however the color faded dramatically to a light pink. Still functions and holds air, but not as easy to see from a distance (coming back to shore with a PWC). Dropping one star for the color fading after 2 seasons (and only 3 months to our Michigan season!). Glad we have the second one to use next summer.Original post: We needed an anchor buoy to mark the spot we leave a heavy weight in the lake to tie a floating platform to. It also helps visitors find us as no one nearby has the same bright color! Help up very well throughout the summer in full sun. Will revise if it doesn't make the cut this year...

These are more rugged than the the cylindrical bumpers. They might not be able to be stored in the same place because their minimum diameter is larger than their counterpart. I like them.

At 1st they seemed like a great deal. I order them I April anticipating using them on May. Well the 1st time I inflated them, one of the developed a leak. Now it's okay the resumed window. The other one seems to be holding air so fa, so giving it t 2 stars. Will update if anything changes...

If your are looking for something to protect your boat from other boats when connecting together in the lake this is awesome. Also works great when you have to pull into a new dock. The big separation is the key. No more bumps with other metal things. Should have bought this years ago. Plus 2 for a great price!

we bought these balls in fall for the boating season next year; today is 6/10/2021 and we inflated the balls one of which is perfect the other has a leak on the top by the seam; i gave this rating in order for other people to see that these come with imperfections and are not made well; you may want to buy from another seller
