I was SO WORRIED about ordering this especially about the sizing. My son is 7 years old. He’s small for a 7 year old 47” tall and 47 lbs. other than the pant legs being a little long, it fits perfect. My personal opinion, it says medium is size 7/8...if you have an 8 year old who is big, I’d recommend going a size up. With my son’s height, and this being a one piece , the torso was the perfect length. If they have a long torso, may want to go the next size up. I included photos. It seems to be normal costume quality (is actually say slightly better) than what you normally get at the store. I love that it has a zipper instead of plastic buttons. I've purchased many costumes over the years for my 4 kids and this is by far the best quality. It is thinner material like a lot of others, however its stretchy and soft, perfect to be able to layer clothes under.The padded chest doesn't have a stiff overlay like a lot of super hero costumes do so it doesn't ride up to my sons chin. The only thing I would change would be the eyes of the mask, the mesh area is a little small so I'm not sure how long my 4 year old will wear it, he can only see out of 1 of them due to the positioning, still better than a smelly rubber or plastic mask.
