good product, good price

Definitely solid brass, with the exception of the locking balls and springs. Not sure brass would hold up in that function. My package was opened when it came. Someone had cut the plastic of the blister pack and then used some heavy black tape to re-close the package. I'm pretty sure this is not the manufacturer's or seller's fault; I suspect it's Amazon returns not paying close attention to the condition of returns. The product itself seems fine, no obvious signs of use. So I'm not going to return them since there's no damage.

Over time I had built up a collection of air tools that for some reason all had very minor variations in fitting design that made connecting tools a bit finicky or leaked a small amount of air. This kit let me do a full on reset of the connection on my tools. The old fittings worked 'ok', but the precision and consistency of the new fittings is really satisfying.

Magnificent and exactly as I expected

I rarely write reviews, but these couplers are great for the money - or really just great. I only use my compressor for bicycle repairs, so I only have an 18" hose because the tire inflator also has an 18" hose, so I really don't need more. When using my sprayer to seat tubeless tires, however, there is a lot of torque given my short hose and the sprayer was constantly popping out of the couplers that came with my hose. These new couplers, with 6 bearings, hold TIGHT - a little teflon tape, no leaks, and they handle the torque caused by my short hose. Worth it - I'm very happy.

First time air compressor buyer and didn't realize it was missing several things I needed such as the hose and connectors. Also didn't realize that the hose I purchased came with a connector and so did the tools I bought, so I ended up purchasing this set by mistake. That said, I'm glad I made the purchase. The connectors that came with my hose and tools were absolutely horrible and would not stop leaking after correctly applying seal tape. Discovered it was because the quick disconnects were not sealing properly, so I swapped in these connectors and they worked flawlessly. Save yourself the time and effort and buy connectors that are made by the same company to ensure a good, proper fit!
