Zoo Med 26389 Repti Giant Hammock

Idk why but my bearded dragon refuses to lay on it. Its fine. Sits baggy tho compared to the other one from the same company. And it's the same size. But otherwise it's a hammuck and it works.

I've seen this product in local pet stores for nearly double the price. I have 2 bearded dragons that I bought at their earliest re-homing age(not supposed to do this from what I hear, I have a new home lined up for one of them when/if issues arise). When I received the product, I opened it and regretted purchase for the size that it is. I've come to realize that it has made the hammock more configurable for trial and error setups to see how your pets use and respond to it. It will create some shade underneath it, how will they climb onto it, will they use it, what do you do when they soil it. I initially set it up with all 3 suction cups at the same height vertically on the terrarium and brought a piece of wood to the edge of it so they could climb up and get on to the hammock easily. This is just my experience, but they didn't seem to be using it that much. Could have been too close to the lamps. I then took the corner suction cup and dropped it to the bottom of the terrarium where they can get onto it from two different spots and climb as far up as they want. I'd assume the higher the climb, the more light/heat they get. There's still slack in the hammock that conforms adjusts to their bodies so it isn't like they're sitting on a hard angled piece of wood. Also, the mesh works great with their claws. I've put small amounts of food(fruit, veggies) on the hammock in front of them outside of their food bowl, and they've also soiled the hammock. It cleans as good as you could expect. No complaints and there's plenty of room for my dragons to grow and use the hammock. Thanks.

This was a trial for my adult bearded dragon. I wasn't sure he would like it and I was a bit skeptical about whether it would stay put on the aquarium walls. As it turned out it did stay put exactly where I placed it. My beardie seemed to enjoy being on it if I put him on it but couldn't seem to figure out how to get up by himself even when I lowered the hammock almost to the floor. I wound up replacing it with something else after I found him hiding under it most of the time. It just didn't work for my spoiled dragon. Even so, it performed as described, was a good heavy quality and cleaned up easily. I would recommend it to other bearded dragon owners.

Bought directly from Amazon. Petsmart was selling this thing for over $20 in-store and bought from Amazon for half that. I had the smaller hammock but needed a bigger one as our bearded dragon grew. She loves it. As she got bigger she started laying of the smaller hammock and a wood branch simultaneously, not a comfortable position. First night she did not use the larger one. That next morning she was on it and looked extremely comfortable and content. It's now her favorite spot. It might fall down since heat and humidity can affect the suction cups but if you thoroughly clean the glass when cleaning the tank (we do it once a week) this should be a rare occurrence.

This thing is huge and like the other reviews, really does take up half a 40 gallon tank. I have both the small size and the giant one, however; unfortunately for me, my bearded dragon absolutely loves the little one from when he was a baby and refuses to leave it even if it's under this one as a stepping stool. This giant hammock is the perfect size for a beardie and can support their entire body and tail while still providing enough wiggle room. The suction cups stick really well on the glass and if they come undone you just wipe the glass down real quick and reapply.

Bought for a bearded dragon in a 90 gallon tank. Underestimated the size. A little too large for tank, it takes up way more space than I expected but I worked with it. The only thing is the damn thing arrived with a suction cup missing. I just went to Michael's and bought a box of different sized ones for like $3. Took a few tries to get them to stick and not pop off once she put her weight on it.

This thing is HUGE! My bearded dragon loves it! It's so big it takes up almost half of the 40 gallon tank but it's pretty much the only place he lays. My girl is a little smaller and I originally bought her a hammock but it's half the size. It works fine for her but Zeus is bigger so we knew we need a bigger hammock because she barely fit on hers and this is PLENTY big. I feel we could fit both the guys on here. Please you don't pay as much as the smaller one. I'd recommend this to anyone!

My fat man had outgrown his last green mesh hammock so I was thrilled to see that they now offer an XL option.... And it is quite roomy! My dragon is 22" and about 700g, and he has plenty of room to spread out and rock the sexy legs. Plus this one is actually made a little better than the smaller sizes. It has metal grommets on the holes, which attach to the suction cups with a metal hook. The suction cups are a lot stronger than the ones that come with the large, so I don't have to worry about it detaching under the weight of my corpulent friend. A+

The idea is great but the suction cups won't stick to the glass. Basically have just had it sitting in the cabinet, I'd look for another option.

This thing is too big for my large terrarium so be warned measure everything closely before you buy.

Product was larger than expected. Amazing quality. Loved the product but shipping was total crap! I pay for prime so I can receive my items as fast as possible. Why pay for a feature your not getting...

My Bearded Dragon loves this hammock, he outgrew his small one and spends all his time on his king size hammock. would recommend this hammock.
