Big John's Pickled Sausage - Gallon

I was skeptical at first because of some reviews but, let me get straight to the point the hot sausage was everything !! I am from Miami so I know exactly how they supposed to taste and feel. Everything was perfect all the way down to the snap they was not soft at all I found one that was kinda soft but not how y’all described !! The packing was extremely neat they made sure it was secured. They say u can’t judge something off of what others say so I’m so happy I ordered to see for myself. My sausage ain’t last a week I’m now about to order another jar thanks you guys I pray I get another good batch!!!!!

Don’t waste your money on these they are terrible gone to the trash can

These are exactly like pickled sausages I liked as a kid. Not sure about the negative reviews I've read. Seems like they are talking about another brand. They are not soft, mushy, or greasy. These look, taste just like I remember. I've tried just about every other pickled sausage Amazon sells and IMO these are by far the best. The thing I wish were different is if they were thinner like the ones I remember. Their thickness is a little too much. Other than that these are just like the ones I got at 7-11s, delis, and bowling alleys.

I've enjoyed this brand of pickled sausages for most of my life. I ordered some from a different seller a few months back and they were fantastic! However, this order was a slimy, disgusting mess. I took one bite and knew that these were old. They were covered in slime and extremely mushy. I want my money back or a replacement. I'm wary of this seller now though. Someone has to make this right. Freshness and quality are paramount when selling food products. I could have gotten sick!

So if you buy them in the store they are usually firm but these aren't, they are softer, but I found a way to make them taste better, if you take a tissue and dry out the sausage it taste better and not soggy, overall they taste good, got what was advertised, just been marinated in the juice for a little to long to the reason why they are soft

I read the other reviews and i took a chance on these. Only bad thing i can say is the packaging was just ok. Other than that the casing had the snap i was joping for like the old penrose sausages. The flavor is so very close to those. There was no leakage and there was a safety sesl in place and it was sealed. The texture of the meat was as expected. The very first bite took me straight back to Saturday,s with my dad when we went to the city open air market in kansas city.best served on a napkin with a couple of saltines. They are great. Just wish they were a bit cheaper to buy

I thank you so much for having this I'm from Florida and I really miss this but I definitely know my sausage and how the texture and everything is supposed to be the ones that you are offering are old still edible but I think you should lower the price to at least $26 and I will continue to buy because they are expired but like I said if you can lower the price and let the customer know that these are a little expired but thank you again and I'll keep an eye open to see if you take my suggestion to Heart and I'll continue to buy on a more honest value

The sausages are the same thickness as kielbasa or any other smoked sausage. Each piece is roughly 3.5" long. The pickling doesn't go all the way through the sausages, so the middle still looks like regular sausage with a pinkish/red halo the deepens in color as you get closer to the casing. Not exactly "hot" but slightly tangy. The texture was very soft and too mushy for my liking.
