This calculator is like it's predecessor with only a solar powered battery no batteries to leak. It is what I have called a four function calculator but it can actually do a few things more. It will do the simple math I needed it for to check columns of additions and subtractions. Turn on a light and it will work. Funny thing is my predecessor calculator probably over 25 years old with the same number was stuffed in a box and probably had a button or two pressed. When I took it out into the light it did not initially work which is the reason I purchased this new one but sitting a while in the light it started functioning again. I guess my comment is go figure...again. Durable, simple, reliable, easy to read

works great. easy to use and great keyboard

Well designed with a tilted display, the buttons are comfortable to use and it has rubber pads on the bottom to keep it in place. Texas Instruments has always made good calculators and it seems as though nothing has changed. Highly recommend.

Great, dependable calculator! Every employee has one plus extra in our warehouse. I like that it is wide enough for everyone's fingers (big or small), legible, and still fits in our conference room caddies (though we need to turn diagonally to fit in compartments). The keys aren't too loud (like an adding machine would be), but loud enough that you can hear your button pressing.
